A lot of people have seen this beautiful boyo here and assumed its fake or Photoshoped because of how unrealistic it looks, but that is'int true. This is the big fin squid (Magnapinna pacifica), the first time we ever saw one of these precious little dudes was at the Azores in 1907 when a dead and heavily damaged specimen washed up on shore, because of how damaged the squid was we weren't able to get much information off of it, we continued to find 1 more in 1956, 2 more in the 1980's and finally in 1998 we found 1 more classified it as Magnapinna pacifica. Now that were done with all that boring stuff lets get to the fun stuff! Scientist assume that Big fin squids drag those massive tentacles across the sea floor and grab onto any living thing that touches it and drags it up to its mouth (sadly they most likely aren't strong enough to drag humans up). Fun fact: scientist aren't sure if we've seen an adult of these things yet, that means that this already 26 ft feet long squid could get even bigger!
