Having fun with food can actually be a great aid in ED recovery. I found that making it into art or something cute (doesn’t matter how simple or complicated) can make it seem safer and friendlier to eat. Not to mention it’s a healthier step away from the triggering behaviours of cutting food into small pieces and manipulating them.
