Part of what makes season 4 of Bridgerton so enjoyable is that much like Pride and Prejudice, Sophie and Benedict’s love is so b-plot to most of the main characters that it’s both delightful and comical when they eventually find out.

"Francesca needs to have biological children so that she knows she's not broken" so you admit you think infertile women are broken. So you think that infertility is a character flaw or a personal failing instead of a completely uncontrollable and morally neutral state of being. I hope that Francesca and Michaela are able to build a family together, but if you think the only way to resolve an infertility plotline is to reward the woman with a magically functioning womb you're fucking crazy... she needs to learn that she is more than what society demands from her and that both Michaela AND John (before his passing) love her far beyond her ability to provide an heir. She is not broken!!!! She does not need a biological baby to have a happy ending!!!!!! You people are under SPELLLS!!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I was happy crying when Ben revealed he was Bi to Sophie, and even more so when Sophie didn’t even bat an eye.

But the double standard for Ben and Fran’s Queer journey is infuriating!

When “these fans” say Francesca being Queer “doesn’t make sense”…..it absolutely does; you’re just to small minded to understand.

“These fans” who admonish a Femme presenting woman, like Francesca being Gay, are THE EXACT SAME “fans” that are okay with Eloise being Gay because she’s: a feminist and mouthy.

These are THE EXACT SAME “fans” who cry about Francesca’s infertility, using it as a shield for their homophobia; as if straight women are the ONLY people who suffer from it.

These are THE EXACT SAME “fans” who love Heated Rivalry and are okay with MEN being Bisexual. But a woman…..they clutch the pearls because it’s “scandalous”.

These “fans” only care about plot accuracy when it comes to Sapphic stories.

I was nervous for this season. I was scared the chemistry wasn’t going to be there, or they’d fuck it up somehow.

the more I think about season three the more I detached myself from my favorite show. But season four restored my love. And I’m glad it was such a beautiful season, especially for Benedict my sweetest soul.

I love the fact that the Queen does indeed know. She’s never been stupid, but she’s allowing the grey area to not exist.

What the Queen says goes, she asked a questions got a truthful answer. She didn’t pry, could have, but didn’t. “I thought you said she was a maid” wasn’t because she was truly confused, it was because she wanted the room to know SHE KNEW. But allowed it anyways.

“She said she is the daughter of a nobleman, then that’s how it shall be. Marry your man, I win my wager, everyone wins this season.”

She’s learning to let go and be more open to the changes of life. I’m excited to see where we go from here.
