Fun and Games|Closed for somethingbrokeninyou
Haunted houses were supposed to be all fun and games. This one seemed to be no exception. Go in with a group-shuffled from the line of those waiting to get in. To enhance the fear people weren’t kept with the party they came with, usually all with strangers. Kyle found himself in a group of five, three who appeared to be in their teens, just about the age that he looked tonight, and one man was was most definitely an adult.
He didn’t give it much thought, after all once they were inside the rooms were made maze-like and meant to separate the group as they went along. For the most part it was just an entertaining haunted house, but there was something else here, drawing people in. There was something real. A few people had gone missing here, but far from scaring everyone off it seemed to draw more of a crowd than before.
Perhaps the owner was just drumming up more business with an actor and an interesting story. Kyle didn’t think so as they walked into the musty old building. There was definitely something here.
Dean stood with his group, hands stuffed in his jacket pockets and shifted his weight to his other foot once in a while. He picked up on the fact they only let five in at a time, but he wasn't sure how to feel about being the only adult with four teenagers. If he had to be honest, it was awkward as fuck.
He cast a glance over his shoulder, taking note of all the teenagers and adults in the line before regarding the building once again. He'd happened upon this case by chance while browsing the web. Someone's friend had posted a blurb of how scary the place was but then went on to mention how they couldn't find their best friend afterwards. He read the comments once he'd finished skimming the story and saw multiple comments saying the same thing. Each person ranging from their late teens to late twenties.
Dean blinked as someone behind him coughed and he moved to follow his group into the house. He looked around with disinterest, reminding himself to keep any knee-jerk reactions in check unless he wanted to be charged with assault. That was the last thing he needed, but that's what he got for entering a haunted house when he knew what went bump in the night.
He brushed past the couple in his group, meandering down the hall and jerked to a stop when an actor beat against the door beside him. The person behind the door screaming bloody murder and another cackling in the distance. Well shit. I'm really gonna have to keep myself in check so I don't punch someone.

Upon entering and immediately stopped from going any further, Sam reached for his badge inside his suit while Dean did the same. However, Dean’s eyes roamed the entire first floor. At least, what wasn’t blocked by the agents in front of them.
Sam started to flip the flap over to reveal his badge. “I’m agent Miller and this is my partner, agent Han-”
“Does anyone want to tell me how someone got in and out, what is likely considered, the most secure building in New York without anyone noticing?” Dean motioned a hand toward a nearby security pad. “Not only that but an employee who mysteriously died while on the clock? I don’t know about you, gentlemen, but the dead can’t come back to life and no one can survive severe, life-threatening injuries. If I recall, eye witnesses swore that they saw Ms. Barlow pass before the ambulance arrived last week. And yet she came back the next day like it was some kind of miracle.”
Tony’s brows furrowed as he was offered a glance of their badges. Close enough. He thought and folded his arms at the shorter one’s question. “Your guess is as good as mine, Agent. I’m still floored, myself.” Tony wouldn’t outright admit it, but man was he on edge about this whole thing.
“Believe me, there’s been things that I wouldn’t believe–even if I saw it with my own eyes.” he sighed. “I’m sure you both want to see some security footage? Or were you two briefed already?”
They were relieved that the badges managed to check out. Least of all when Tony Stark was the one looking them over. Dean hummed and rose a brow as Tony explained all he knew at the moment. He nodded at the offer of seeing the footage. "If you wouldn't mind. It might just help us out."
Sam, on the other hand, shook his head. "I want to see where Ms. Barlow was at the time of her accident. I would like to talk to her coworkers and whoever saw her last as well."

Dean nodded as Ellis told them his idea, not bothering to voice his skeptisism since it was a good one. Better than running aimlessly through the park until they got somewhere safe. The only problem with it though was if there was enough left behind to get the chopper’s attention.
“‘the best?’ I dunno, man, I’ve seen some pretty wicked shows.” Dean cracked, his tone chipper and carefree.
“How would you even know?” Sam asked, firing a shot at a nearby infected. “It’s not like you saw them before.”
Dean squeezed off a shot, the man’s head becoming a bloody mess on the ground as his body crumpled. “Neither have you, smartass.” He blinked after a moment, turning to look ahead as he heard something odd amoung the horde. “…is that a clown?”
The brunet chuckled at the brotherly banter, blasting the face off of a saggy-breasted Spitter before he heard the squeaking that Dean had been talking about, looking to see a clown leading a small horde towards them, “Yer kiddin’ me.. Clowns?…clowns?..” he asked incredulously as he took aim, “That squeakin’s attractin’ more to ‘im, shoot th’ clown!”
Dean pivoted to the side to gun down more zombies and cursed once he saw said horde. Sam flexed his jaw, focusing on the clown and narrowing his eyes before pulling the trigger. The bullet tore through the clown's shoulder, causing it to stumble back but that didn't stop it for very long. Dean reeled his fist back and slammed it into a woman's jaw, kicking her away not even a second later.
"Y'know, I get that it was only a matter of time until I saw an infected clown..." He grunted as he followed up with a curbstomp. "But this is way too soon."
"Very funny." Sam squinted and squeezed off another shot, managing to take out two of the zombies within the group the clown was gathering. "If it would just hold still for just five seconds, that would be great."
