Black babies, babies that are of African descent, are born with smooth curls that find their pattern after a few months! *Plus fun fact*: The black American gene pool isn't 100% African, let's not forget that, so these babies could all have two "black" parents and come out with a little bit more of a curl than a coil to their hair. Plus let's not forget that black people from Africa, like me, come in completely different shades and our hair comes in different textures too. People always though I was mixed because I'm pretty light and my hair was more "3b/c" when I was younger but it's settled as "3c/4a" now. Both my parents are black, both their parents are black, I could keep going and I'm pretty sure I won't find anything but black in my ancestry. ALSO, People from east Africa tend to have looser curls and straighter noses, while people from west Africa tend to have darker skin and more "typically African" features. TLDR; Don't let white people tell you how to look guys @kimreesesdaughter
