Aw, no need to be nervous! I like getting to chat with people! I always want to send my own comments to people, but I get rather anxious myself ^^’

I’m glad you like my Captain Trotter art! I don’t draw him too often, but he’s definitely one of my favorite characters. I’m a big sucker for characters who are friendly and kind, yet have deep rooted issues that haunt their personality once you get to know them.

I think people tend to ignore Trotter because he isn’t “conventional” in the way Thaniyel and Cruel King are. He’s very much an old man with his quirks and flaws. Not to say Thaniyel or Cruel King can’t be depicted similarly, of course.

got bored here is what I imagine jerry could be like in present/pre-prologue blocktales

based on the Singular mention of jerry in blocktales about him warning his great niece + nephews about strangers, he is definitely not as gullible as before!! however he is still generally trusting and open minded towards people. he cherishes his brother’s grandchildren and Wants them to be respectful. unfortunately He has a hard time saying no to anything adn everything they ask for

tho i would love to explain a lil bit Why/what "my true morals" ? Well, I feel like after they defeated their emotions, the lack of fear, sorrow, etc., makes them feel like they are not being themselves. Those "negative emotions" are still a part of them-a part of what makes them who they truly are, and why decisions were made based on those emotions. . For Calypso, obviously is their guilt for the cause of the trotter's death and the fact that they can't (at that time) feel sorrow, which makes them unable to fully empathize with her. it 1 thing that you feel something that you shouldn't/not expected to, but it's another thing that you don't feel something that you should /expected to (you get what i mean? TvT). They know what grief feels like, but now they're struggling to get/feel a grasp of it, which is really messing with their head a lot. that all...Hope that makes sense in some way
