SELF & PARTNER_Assignment2
My finished piece is called "Sadness Within the City". I painted using the techniques of Francoise Nielly and drew with inspirations from Thomas Fedro. I am satisfied with my ending and glad that it came out the way I expected it to be.
SELF & PARTNER_PROCESS
I started off just sketching my idea based off of Thomas Fedro, then I painted it with the base colors I wanted.

SELF & PARTNERS_Assignment2
For this project I chose to work with two exceptional artists, Thomas Fedro (bottom) and Francoise Nielly (top). Their works are somewhat similar in that they are abstract and use eye-catching colors, but Fedro focuses more pop art and pairing it with abstract art. Nielly does more realistic work with oil paints and abstract. Lately I have been drawn to abstract art (which honestly isn't my forte), but when I stumbled across these two artists I immediately fell in love with abstract. I am going to try to accomplish doing a piece with pop art inspired by Fedro and color it based on the way Nielly uses his colors.
SELF & MEMORY_Assignment1
For my set of 3 postcards I created, I based them on different important changes in my life. On the front of each postcard I made an origami animal; they each represent phases in my life where my mother nicknamed me an animal based on certain actions I did. On the back, I drew and painted a picture based on the passions that arose during those phases in my life. The materials I used were a sharpie pen, water color, and origami paper.
SELF & MEMORY _Assignment1
For my visual chronology, I decided to draw pictures of different animals my mother called me through different period in my life. And each animal represents certain memories from that period.
My project proposal is that for the front of each postcard will be an origami animal that I choose. And on the back of the postcards will be the most important memory from that animal.
Sketchbooks & Notepads Open (door David Firth)
My goal is to have a sketchbook that looks as complete as these do.
