One thing i think many fail to realize, is that many people out there are brainwashed at best and at worst they literally WANT you to argue with them.
It is genuinely malicious in nature, They will change up their tactics to get people to engage in bad faith arguments, feign ignorance, act like they just donât understand, literally anything to waste your time because they honestly have convinced themselves that you are the stupid one for not falling for propaganda.
Which is sad for people genuinely interested, people who feign ignorance or pretend to be innocent to just get you to participate in a bad faith argument kind of ruin it for everyone else.
At this point though i think itâs safe to say, most people if they were willing to question the propaganda and challenge the narrative, they would have by now.
So basically anyone bringing up fact checkers or challenging sources, claiming you didnât get information from the right pre-approved one sided source, etc, etc is wasting your energy.
Energy is a currency and the heavily brainwashed and mentally ill out there seek to manipulate you into wasting it on them. Donât fall for it, move on.
I know some part of your brain is convinced if you just lay out the facts and give them enough information, they might see it and change their mind but they wont.
People in this state are in a primal part of the brain, they see the issue at hand as challenging their beliefs which they associate with identity and this is apart of the key to the mental illness, when the emotional response is triggered and the identity is being challenged, the brain goes into fight or flight and all the brain sees is primal âthis person is attacking ME, i might die if i donât end this, this is a threatâ because the ego portion of the identity is also literally fighting for its life, all rational parts of the brain shutdown and cease to participate in this interaction, also why it turns to violence, personal attacks, etc, so often they see the challenge to their views as threat to their identity and the life of that ego, its do or die, fight or flight, they in their brain have to destroy you or get to safety.
