I left for a con this past weekend everything was fine. My ferret was happy and running around and climbing his cage like normal. Then when we I came back he wasn't acting normal anymore, he was barely moving his hind legs. So we took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with insulinoma, lymphoma, and had several large masses in his abdomen. I knew ferrets could develop the first two, I was prepared for it. But I was not prepared for the seven large masses of cancer in his abdomen. Now he not only has to get surgery for the insulinoma, but also to remove the tumors. I usually don't post things like this, but he is my child and his birthday is in November and I just want him to be happy and playful again. We've raised so much so far to help with his medication that he has to take for life.
