Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome still gives me chills, the 80s post-apocalyptic vibe is everything. George Miller’s action sequences are forever unmatched. the rush of adrenaline, the desperation, it’s all so hauntingly beautiful. a true classic that never gets old

I can see a lot of people not liking this, but I REALLY did. Huge, sprawling, a good 60% of the book before there's any 'action' at all. Lore heavy, ponderous even. Just loved it.
