Sephiroth smiled and came up behind the son of the time witch. He stayed silent watching him. He stood a few minutes before putting a gentle hand on Spades shoulder.

Spade hadn’t heard a thing aside from his own breathing. So when the older man touched his shoulder he practically jumped out of his skin. Thinking it was an enemy a sword appeared in his hand and he whipped around to attack before noticing it was Sephiroth. He groaned loudly as the blade vanished. “Gods damn it, don’t do that to me, Sephiroth! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?”

Spade was out on one of his self given scouting missions. Mostly he would watch the various Cosmos Warriors and what they were up to and return to his mother with information. Today he was watching Squall from a high point where he knew he wouldn’t be seen by the other.

     “Good idea my boy.” That would be a perfect time to strike, “Can I trust you to handle it yourself while I set the rest of the trap?” She knew it wouldn’t be any trouble for him as long as he did it right. And knowing how adept her son was since she taught him, she knew he would. It was only a matter of finding the other two at the right moment.

Spade smiled at the praise he’d earned from her. “Thank you, Mother.~” His smile quickly turned back to a smirk at her question. “Of course I can. They are nothing to me. I already have a plan in mind for this.” Just like the others under Chaos he had command over the Manikins. Using them would be a crucial part to this capture.

     “Mm, good eye.” She expected nothing less from her child, “No, we’d just need the proper moment to grab him.The easiest way would be to knock him out while caught off guard. Less wasted effort.” Though of course if fighting were necessary then fight they would, it would just make everything easier if it were avoided since the boy would only be used as bait.

 “I don’t think that will be hard. The two seem to like to goof around even while in search of the crystals. Catch them like that and it will be simple.” They could even use Manikins to separate them to make it even easier. Then once they were far enough apart Spade could go in for the grab.

     Her eyes were trained on the Cosmos’ warriors, of course mainly to one in particular. Hearing her son, she didn’t bother looking over as she spoke, “Stubborn as he is, I highly doubt he’ll stand for someone close to him being taken. His stubbornness might play into our favour if we grab the right one. He might come alone. He is the sort to do such a thing.”

Hearing her made him smirk, making him look a bit more like his father. “Well I have seen him hang around with a certain pair. The one with the tail and the one we caught eavesdropping.” He shifted his gaze back down to the Cosmos warriors. “The one with the tail wouldn’t be too hard to catch.”

His eyes followed the movements of their enemies. They were fighting the Manikins again which was nothing new. Those things were everywhere. Spade stood from his crouched position and looked to his mother. “Do you think he would fall for a trap like taking one of his friends? He might be too stubborn for that.”
