𝙎𝙋𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝙃𝘼𝘿 its own wonders and relics, ibiza especially, and sarang was determined to see more. it wasn’t worth being stuck in such a beautiful location to stay cooped up in a hotel room. she put on her favorite strawberry picnic dress, that had been saved for especially wondering the streets of ibiza, and quickly sent a picture to soojeong :

as she scrambled to put everything she thought she needed into her purse, sarah couldn’t see if soojeong had replied or not. in all honesty, she was so excited about this. not only the exploring, but whom she was going to spend the day with. it took her all not to be starstruck every time she saw the other girl. it was like meeting a role model or an idol, the awe of it all still struck her after all this time. sarang quickly snapped out of her thoughts and was on the elevator down before she knew it. as the elevator doors opened and the other was in full view, she felt herself smiling widely and waving her hand. “ you’re lucky i didn’t eat breakfast, now i’m going to eat all of ibiza myself, ” she said whilst approaching the girl. soojeong looked as radiant as ever, “ this is going to be fun ! ”

she was already in the lobby when she got sarang’s snap, not feeling the need to reply since they’d see each other shortly. typically she took longer to get ready but she’s been shopping so often, it was easy for her to find something to wear. as for makeup, she just put on some mascara and a lip tint, nothing too fancy but just enough. she began to drum her fingers against the table in front of the elevators, excited and she couldn’t help but wonder if this was a date. she could feel the butterflies form in her stomach and her cheeks heat up as she thought about it. she quickly took out her phone and began looking for places to eat near them. she found a recommended stop called giri cafe. it was a little far from their hotel but still a walk-able distance. if anything, it just gave them more time to spend with each other. the chime of the elevator drew her attention away from her phone and her smile grew as she saw sarang. ❝ i need to see that, ❞ she laughed, linking her arm with the other’s once she was close enough. ❝ it is! i was thinking we could go here first, ❞ she said whilst showing her phone, ❝ it has good reviews and has a nice aesthetic. ❞

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄'𝐒 five star hotel wasn’t as pleasing to stay at for a long period of time. cherry loved the feeling of coming and going as she pleased, but being stuck in one place because of something she was simply a witness to, pissed her off. at this rate, she was going to crack and spill the tea for what actually happened that night. cherry walked around the shopping complex close enough to her accommodations, so she wouldn’t have to walk far with heavy bags. finding herself in a high-end store, she decided she couldn’t go too over budget due to her parents breathing down her neck ever since they found out she was a murder suspect. “ hey, if you were to buy one thing in here would it be that diamond infused watch or a gold embroidered hand bag? ” chae sipped on her lemonade while looking at the other with said items in hand.

desperate to distract herself from jihyun, she found herself doing things she normally wouldn’t. earlier today, she embarked on a hike just to keep her mind focused on the physical labor she had to complete in order to keep up with the group she was with. in addition, she couldn’t even sleep as much as she normally would, her dreams filled with events of the night. any sane person would seek professional help but she was never one to conform. why pay someone when you can use the same amount of money on items for yourself? so, she found herself spending most of her free time at the mall. she was looking at two dresses — fully aware she was going to purchase both — when she heard a familiar voice from behind her. before she could greet chaeri, she looked down at the two options. ❝ if i had to choose one i’d go with the watch. ❞ she draped the two dresses along her arm before returning her attention to the other. ❝ if you don’t mind me asking, why aren’t you buying both? ❞

she was taken aback by his words but she kept a neutral expression. she needed to seem unbothered as to avoid any signs of weakness. what surprised her the most was how he almost sounded entertained as he explained the situation. ❝ does that happen often? it seems like you have the ❛ get rid of it ❜ speech down. ❞ her voice was light as she spoke, as to avoid any suspicion he may or may not have. networking meant putting emotions and morals aside, especially when dealing with those who were powerful.
