The loose shape of the top would frame you nicely with a pair of distressed shorts. ahh- yes of course & the hat would just make you look like you actually took hours to put the outfit together. Plus, knowing you, you’d probably be lazy to do something with your hair, right Soojung?” she laughs as she sets the outfit onto her table listening to the other as she recites her experience with a previous blind date. “ Tsk. Mothers will be mothers.” averting her attention to her vanity as the other mentions makeup, she eyes for something that would suit the other’s taste. “ Hmm, I have a few cc cushions you could try. They’re really light & don’t consume that much time to put on. Not really sure which one would suit you though… do you know if you have oily, sensitive, or dry skin?” 

she lays still and listens to every word that comes from jinah and she can’t help but feel in awe. of course, jinah knew exactly what she was talking about and had ideas perfectly formulated within a snap of a finger. whereas soojung would rather just toss on whatever she could grab without a second thought, so as long as she looked decent. “can you live in my closet when things like this happen more often? because i feel like you could make my mother happy with the way you dress me--” she snorts and imagines jinah cramped up in her closet, curled up with a discontent expression on her face each time soojung would open up. “the only time i’ll ever put effort into my hair is if it’s necessary or for a super important event. otherwise, not really. promise me you will never force your child to go through blind dates. ever. they’re awful and getting a cute, decent boy is a very small chance.” cc cushions...she would probably have to search this all up later if she remembered. “oily! speaking of, i think i need to buy...what was it, blotting paper? wanna tell me where i can find some that’ll actually work better than tiny tissues cramped in my bag?”

soojung figures she’s a complete mess at this point, but it doesn’t really matter. she swore to herself that she would never let her tongue have a drop of alcohol unless it was during a time of absolute celebration or her life was going to shits. in this case, it was the latter. though she’d rather not worry youngji about her week falling apart, she feels the urge to tell the female everything. youngji had always been the kind of person to listen attentively and offer comfort, even if she had nothing much to say. grief and comfort twist together in the most heart-wrenching way and soojung nods silently, feeling more than grateful for her friend. she feels her senses slowly becoming normal again, and she mumbles softly enough for youngji to hear. “can i borrow a shirt first? i smell gross and i don’t think you wanna smell like alcohol either.”

to admit that she was going through his phone rather than calling someone like she claimed she was seemed to be of no use. but rather than confirming his accusation, the female replied with a snort and mumbled. “yeah yeah, believe whatever you’d like, as long as it helps you sleep at night.” she hunches over, back slightly facing him as her eyes dart through his phone and finger opening every text message she found suspicious. there was too much for her to read and comprehend at the same time, but she would pry it all out of him later.  “in that case, i’m going to do you a favor and download it for you so you know how to enjoy life. a phone isn’t just about calling and texting and taking pictures anymore. you need to expand its use!” she turns back to face him, shaking her fist to emphasize her meaning. of course, she figured he’d delete the game later. but there was no harm in keeping it on his phone for the meantime. “yeah, i guess. i mean, unless you count fawning over a boy from the screen as some sort of relationship, i think it might take me a while. besides, i’m very picky with boys. they have to fit my criteria and not make me want to choke myself while we’re together. i’ve had that happen too much already.” she rolls her eyes and sets the phone back into his hands. “alright kids, i guess it’s story time. you first, and then i’ll point out all the tiny little things that have happened within those months.”
