every three years i log onto tumblr, wander around for a little while, and then leave again. i think i may finally delete this account though because enough time has passed that i’m like, this isn’t my house anymore

with twitter (where i’ve lived for the past six years) imploding i’m currently exploring going back to tumblr but i think i’m gonna have to burn this blog down and start anew. it does feel wild to reread my old posts though when i was at my most mentally ill and still in school. i’m a molecular biologist now. the brainworms are still here and different now but you know. you win some you lose some

every time I attempt to go back on here (or even just lurk) it feels like going back to an old room that’s been preserved, but that no longer feels like mine. I still like the idea of Tumblr but I also think I have to burn this blog down
