Soomers, the zico to my mino, the bobby to my hanbin, lowkey but maybe highkey the love of my life? You ever have those friends where you love them so much you actually fall for them in the platonic sense, literally thats how i feel about you. It really says what kind of people we are that we’ve been able to over come pretty much every obstacle to now become closer than ever. Every time we’re together it’s fun and your presence puts a smile on my face. I can’t say that i feel lucky to have you in my life, i feel blessed. “Calzones are pointless. They’re just pizza that’s harder to eat. No one likes them."

soomi’s jaw would drop if it wasn’t currently full of the said food. she almost chokes, but manages to gulp it down, staring at gongchan with wide eyes.

“i like them! am i considered no one?” she narrows her eyes at the boy, taking another bite, very nearly tearing the calzone in two. 

“how can you say that no one likes them? you said it yourself. it’s pizza! who doesn’t like pizza? everyone loves pizza. in any shape or form. pizza is amazing.” and then she stops, looks into the distance for a second, gears working in her mind until her gaze refocuses on gongchan. “well, unless you’re lactose intolerant and can’t have cheese on your pizza. which is kinda tragic, so i’d understand.” 

she’s not sure if she ever said the word pizza so many times in under a minute. she must’ve broken a world record, but it’s kinda expected, since the only things soomi ever got passionate about were food, animation and harry potter.

wendy’s words are tempting, but for some reason soomi remembers that old spice commercial - although her mind alters it a tiny bit.

look at your money. now back to the boba shop. now back at your money. sadly, you’re short on money.

it’s not that soomi is completely broke, but often times she thinks she just might be bordering on bankruptcy. but then her paycheck comes in and all is right with the world, even if it might be just for a month. or, well. a few weeks? oh, alright. days. 

ah, the life of an independent adult woman. it’s not exactly what she expected, mainly because she hoped she’d have an actual stable job by the time she was 20, but you can’t always get what you want. besides, she told her dad that she’d be fine, and, well. she is. kinda.

“i dunno, we already spent so much today…” she looks down at the bags in her hands, which were filled with mostly socks, because soomi seems to have a penchant for losing socks. interestingly enough, she always loses just one. not that she minds wearing different colored socks, but it gets annoying after a while. 

but she caves in the end, because soomi is possibly the biggest bubble tea addict ever. “oh, alright. but if i’m unable to pay my rent this week i’ll be knocking at your door at 2A.M. to ask for money. and, in the worst case scenario, a place to stay.”

“One time I accidentally drank an entire bottle of vinegar. I thought it was terrible wine.”

at first, the very thought makes soomi cringe. only sai would be able to gulp down something without a care, assume it’s wine, and later realize the concoction he just drank was vinegar. only sai. 

“seriously? what the fuck?” her expression is a grimace, and she’s unsure if she’s disgusted or amused. something in between. “isn’t vinegar, like, highly acidic? how come your esophagus isn’t destroyed?” 

the crease between her eyebrows becomes even more prominent, because she’s... well, flabbergasted that someone is capable of actually drinking an entire bottle of vinegar, because just like most sour things, vinegar makes soomi squint and seize up, and it makes her make a very, very ugly face. but everyone’s reaction to sour things is like that, isn’t it?

“sorry, i’m just... in awe that you managed to do that. how could you think it’s wine? didn’t you have a label on it or something? what the heck, sai?”
