yet another reminder that glinda lived the rest of her life thinking the two people most important to her were gone forever, but instead of crumbling under the weight of her guilt and grief she swallowed her pain, hardened her resolve and threw herself into becoming glinda the good in more than just name.

Young girls are naturally inclined to witchcraft. You cant leave a young girl alone in the backyard for 5 minutes without her trying to make "soup" from some flower petals and sticks.

me, sobbing in a corner: WTF
i am…so fucking angry. how dare they ruin a character I personally related to for years, how dare they kill off the people she loves, her dragons, how dare they make those she loves abandon her, betray her?
she’s gone through so much. she was abused emotionally and sexually by her brother. sold like a broodmare and raped. her child was murdered and she was betrayed by one of the only men she ever trusted. then she finds a man who is her equal, finally. a good, kind man. a king who cares for his people enough to give up his title and then, even when she says she’ll fight for him, he gives up his title anyway, because he loves her and believes in her, believes that she’ll make a good queen. then, d&d decided that, of course, arya and sansa, these two strong women who have gone through experienced similar to to daenerys, would hate her, because of course they would. strong women never get along. then, the northern people shun dany’s people and her, despite the fact that she’s abandoned her cause to come to their aid. she didn’t need to. she chose to, because she is a good, kind, and caring queen. one of her dragons, her children, dies to help the north and westeros and they never show appreciation for her. then, she finds out jon, the man she loves, is her nephew, and instead of becoming happy (which she would have been, in the novels, had she discovered there was another targaryen alive), she gets upset, because of course she would. and then her advisors turn on her simply because jon has a cock, because of course a woman can’t be a good ruler, even though she’s been a good ruler for several years and had freed thousands from slavery and built up an army not out of fear, but because they respect and love her. and then, her best friend is murdered, a good portion of her army is slaughtered, and she loses another dragon. then, she suddenly turns dark. burns the whole city. all because d&d had no idea what to do with her character. they don’t know what to do with any of the female characters, if we’re being honest.
after 7 seasons of her being a good and kind ruler, they make her go mad, they make her go dark. it’s not fucking foreshadowing. it’s for shock value. if she was a man people wouldn’t be saying she’s going to go mad. she wouldn’t have gone mad. jon didn’t go mad. it’s misogyny and horrible fucking writing.
When Cersei said “I don’t want to die like this”, like me too, boo. I mean I want you to die, but not like this.
