I started watching The Bear and it’s giving me sooooo much Ted Lasso ptsd. I’m trying so hard not to ship Carmen and Sydney because the pain of Ted/Rebecca is just too much. I remember being attacked on social media just because I shipped two characters together and I’ve seen it happening in The Bear fandom too. I can’t relive that experience. Just to be clear, I love the WHOLE show and all the characters, I’m not JUST watching it for a ship. But they have great chemistry and I love their characters, so of course I’m rooting for them to be happy, whatever that means in the context of the show. I know it’s not about romance, it’s about the restaurant and found family and Carmy healing from his trauma. I just love their dynamic and the characters individually. Please don’t come at me and attack me in the comments. I just want to enjoy my show. I CANNOT relive the trauma of Ted Lasso and Tedbecca 😭

Was reading an article on writing love interests and there was a section about how in any romance both characters should reciprocate the other's actions, like for example if one character saves the other's life the gesture should be returned and...
