hi ✨
'like a lotus flower 🪷🌿 we too have the ability to rise from the mud bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world'
I believe that our greatest strengths can emerge from our darkest times. Without darkness, no one will be able to see your light.🩷✨
Heliophilia... describes a deep love and longing for sunlight and warmth.
Helio = from Helios, the greek god and personification of the sun
philia = love
'I lost myself in sunsets...only to find that I am the sun.' -Kavya Dixit
My great-grandfather always talked about them...jackdaws, they were his favorite birds.
His talk of these birds awakened a fascination in me, and the day I saw one for the first time, that fascination grew even stronger. Their ash-colored plumage, their resounding call, but the most captivating thing of all were their storm-gray eyes. Eyes that look straight into your soul and give you the knowledge that these creatures don't just walk in this world.
"There is a beautiful thing inside you that is thousands of years old.
Too old to be captured in poems.
Too old to be loved by everyone
But loved so very deeply by a chosen few."
-Nikita Gill
When the sun is about to set, it bathes everything in a golden light...like a reflection from another world. And this light also shimmers in the eyes of old souls.
