Hi! It sounds you are in genuine distress and while I haven't reached your stage I understand how you feel and get thoughts related to this. The HUGE HUGE things about being a good person is not acting on thoughts. You can have fantasies, look at images, read fiction works, but as long as you do not commit the act it is perfectly okay. I know there's this whole anti movement but when it comes to something like philias. a philiac literally can't help it haha, it's often something they grew up with as a young kid and it's part of them now. I draw necro and gore commissions and it helps me get it all out, it's cathartic. A lot of the time I do wish I could have grown up normally and developed a normal attraction to other people but unfortunately I didn't and I have to learn to live with it.

i donāt really self-harm like. iāve never cut myself even if a lot of the people i know have. it seems like every time i get upset at myself to the point i want to hurt myself itās always blunt force. ever since i was a kid iād bang my fists on my face/skull. i remember one time i did this was a cordless phone in my hand and i broke the phone and left a welt on my temple for a week.Ā ive never heard of anyone else doing this.

No thereās definitely something wrong with someoneās way of thinking if they can justify killing innocent people, but this doesnāt necessarily mean that they have a mental illness.
Extremist beliefs isnāt a mental illness.
Bigotry isnāt a mental illness.
Entitlement isnāt a mental illness.
Hate isnāt a mental illness.
Having a dysfunctional moral compass isnāt a mental illness.
We need to stop categorizing all these things as some undefinable āmental illnessā and start looking at what we do as a society to develop and justify these things to a degree where people use them to justify killing.

Dehumanization is something you Have to look for. If the murderer doesnāt see the person they killed as a person, then mental illness is probably not the main factor there.Ā
Plenty of people murder women, poc, lgbt people, people of other religions etc. because they donāt see them as people.
Think about genocides - they arenāt perpetrated by big group of people/a government who all got mentally ill together the same way at the same time somehow, they just didnāt consider what they did murder because they didnāt see the victims as people.
