The Sooyoung-HET Harbor FAQs, Twitter, Fanfic Collection and A Possible Writing Contest
It's been very quiet up until SMTOWN Tokyo 2013 and then poof! Looks like the Harbor is alive and kicking again :D
But before we continue, I'll go and help out the newbie fans who are probably scratching their heads in confusion at the moment. Sailors? Harbor? What in the world is this girl talking about?

What is Sooyoung-HET? Sooyoung-HET or Soohet/Soo-HET for short refers to the heterosexual (meaning girl x guy) pairings of SNSD's Choi Sooyoung.
What is a Sailor? A Sailor, in the context of KPOP shipping, is the name given to Soo-HET shippers in general. Why in general? Because many of the individual ships have their own names. The term Sailor also applies to those with more than one Soo-HET ship
What are the ships and shipper names under Soo-HET? There are quite a lot of ships under Soo-HET, some much more common than the others. But only a handful have official names; some of which have been decided through an online poll

Online polls for the names of other shippers have been postponed indefinitely as of a moment but if there are already existing names for those not in the above list, spread the word :)
What is the Harbor? Well, since there are a lot of ships in the Soo-HET fandom, those ships are now put together under one place or one collective, the Soo-HET Harbor. The Harbor is the home of all Soo-HET shippers, regardless of OTP :)
There are two places where you can find the Soo-HET Harbor :D First of which is the original home of all things Soo-HET (fanfics, edits, gifs, fanvids, screencaps and the like), Tumblr. sooyoung-ship.tumblr.com is the official Tumblr home of the Harbor. If you have Tumblr, please do follow!
The newest place where you can find the Harbor is Twitter! For easier and faster access of Soo-HET updates, twitter.com/sooyoung_ship is the place to go to. Likewise, if you have Twitter, please follow the official Twitter home of the Harbor :D

For all fanfic writers and/or readers out there, did you know that the Harbor also has a collection somewhere in the world wide web containing links to Soo-HET fics? Yep, you read right! soohetfics.blogspot.com houses links of fanfics found in the web, most especially in AFF and Live Journal :) The collection is constantly being updated and kept proper track of to ensure that entries won't be repeated. However, please also take note that A Sailor's Ultimate Logbook, which is found in AFF, will be taken down as soon as all the fics in those lists are transferred to soohetfics
For all the writers out there, there is also a collection of prompt lists in AFF. The thread has been idle for quite sometime now but it will be fixed very soon and will be back with more prompts to get all your muses going. If you want to be updated, please do subscribe to the collection :)
Last and certainly not the least, as mentioned by the blog entry, there will be a writing contest possibly heading your way. Details are still being worked out but what is for certain as of the moment is that it'll be a one shot writing contest open to all writers willing to write a soo-het fic. There will be prizes to be given out too!
