“That’s what I like to hear,” Sierra teased, almost getting too distracted to remember the reveal of their hands that she had just prompted. But, she at least had Sophia showing hers first to shake her back to the game. She drew in a breath through her teeth. “Almost doesn’t quite beat two pairs, though.” She flipped over her cards, revealing a pair of kinds and a pair of sevens. “Pay up.”

Sophia gave her cards back to the woman. “Well, if I remember correctly, you’re the one who gets to take something off of me. What ever you’d like.” She gave a playful smirk to the blonde.

Acacia nodded, thinking back on the recent experiences she’d had. “I haven’t had many bad interactions, but I think they can tell if you actually want to make them happy. I know it’s not something that’s easy to do, especially if you remember from before, though.” Humming as she thought back, she shrugged. “It honestly depends on what you like, though. I’ve been pretty lucky, a lot of the things I’ve done with masters or mistresses, I’ve actually been able to enjoy,” she added sheepishly, hoping the other wouldn’t think less of her for it. 

“That’s fantastic.” She said grabbing the woman’s hand. “Ive been used to being forced to do things I didn’t want to do - both violently and just having to quietly comply to things to avoid punishments.”

He kissed the top of her head lightly, giving a low hum. “I could try to warm you to it. If you like the idea. But I don’t have to, sweetheart. “We could try working up to it, if it’s something you really like.” Sophia smiled to herself at how gentle he was so far. She bit at her lip as she grinned, looking away at the next question. “I’d very much like you to fuck me, Sir. Draw out orgasms until I’m shaking and can’t do anything beyond curling up beside you for a nap. “I’m more than happy enough to get into my dragon form, being fully stretched out is perfect” she hummed and then gestured for the woman to follow her, taking off her suit jacket and handing it to the slave. “Of course, this is a nice suit, so I will need to rid myself of my clothes before I turn”

She nodded,taking the jacked. “I didn’t expect you to just rip out of your suit - you didn’t seem like the type.” Sophia followed along a few moments before speaking up again. “So...what’s it like to fly?”

“So, you’re telling me you’re one of the good ones?” She teased, though she knew it tended to all be a bit relative. Thinking about the attacks unnerved her a little bit, and she was masking it with what humor she could. She lifted up her cards. “Wanna see who’s stripping first?”

“Oh I’m very good.” She smirked, rocking back and forth slightly in her seat. Sophia nodded. “Show ‘em if you’ve got ‘em.” Sophia showed hers first. It almost looked like nothing at first glance - in fact, it was nothing. Every card was a club except one. “Well, it was almost a flush...”

Sierra passed her the new cards, creating a discard pile with the woman’s and her own rejects. She drew her hand back up, a little distract when the human voiced her question. “Hm? Oh, just three months. But I’ve been dumping traitors, hybrids, and that whole lot here for a couple years. I just wanted to make sure I had enough to be comfortable here, you know?” She lifted her hand, fingers idly tapping on Sophia’s knee. “How new are you?”

“A couple days, but I was a slave somewhere else for about six years. The city was destroyed and slaves who survived or at least, who survived and hadn’t been a traitor or attempt to run, we were shipped off to larger cities that were still standing.”

Still, the pretty brunette wasn’t done, as made obvious by him grabbing her wrist firmly. “ Aren’t you going to serve it to me?

She whimpered at the grip. “Yes, Sir.” Sophia said softly, hoping he’d release her wrist. “My apologies, Sir.” Averting her gaze, Sophia poured a glass for him. “Is there anything else you require?”

Acacia moved to join the other on her bed, nodding as she did so. “It does, but when there’s nothing to do but wait for someone to order you around..” she trailed off with a half shrug, “I’m really glad to hear that.” Lowering her voice to a whisper, she continued, her eyes glued to the door, “I know there’s always a mix, but there are quite a few of the masters and mistresses who can even be kind.” It wasn’t something to say too loudly, not when there was no telling who could hear her.  “I’d not tell them that, though,” she muttered a little more loudly with a wink.

Sophia giggled lightly at the girl’s final comments. “Well that’s good to hear. Do you have any favorites I should keep an eye out for? Or...anyone who you had a bad time with?” Either bit of information would be quite beneficial to her.

“I don’t know if brave is the word, but this is something I have to see to believe. While I’ve come accustomed to other supernaturals and shape shifters, something of this magnitude must be witnessed.”

Olivia clicks her tongue against her teeth once more, “Sounds pretty much identical to here. I heard a few of the slaves hid in the woods though. Even in the trees, believe it or not.”

Sophia frowned. “I don’t understand what their goal was. If they wanted to free us from the cells, blowing them up so bricks and stone rains down upon us could free us by virtue of our death.”

The red head let out a hearty laugh at the young womans guesses “Oh no, not even close…” she mused. The Mistress then changed her eyes so they were more reptile like, a blazing amber orange “Let’s just say this isn’t my natural hair colour” she joked “And when I’m at ease in my normal form, I’m winged and over 20ft tall” she offered, tilting her head “You will have heard of my kind on many of your stories and popular culture references?” she then turned and spat a small flame at a nearby lamp in the cellblock block corridor to light it, before turning back to the human.

Her eyes went wide and she took a step backwards. “No....” She blinked. “I mean, I know werewolves, and I’ve been learning new species...but...dragon??” Sophia was genuinely shocked. She walked back up to the woman. “Could you...could you show me? Obviously not in here, but...”

“Mm, I use them decoratively as well as actual restraints. I’m sure you’d look beautiful with a decorative rope harness, but I’d like you to experience more restraints too.” Ropes looked equally as beautiful when they were crafted to suspend or restrain someone. “So, blindfolded and teased with things like wax, ice or feathers – how do you feel about impact play?” He asked her.

She took a moment to think. “I’ve yet to learn to enjoy it. It was mostly used for punishments and often escalated quickly to being brutal. But I’ve gotten used to  doing things whether I wanted to try it or not, so if that’s something you enjoy, I’m at your service, Sir.” There was a gentle sadness under her voice at the thought of having been forced to do things.

“Mm.. They recently revamped this section here. Your rooms used to have bars, not walls. They seem to be attempting a different approach. Even leave your doors open during the day, I believe.” She casually tucks some loose curls behind an ear, and clicks her tongue against her teeth. “I wasn’t here for any of it, luckily. I had a bit of business that took me away, but returned when I got word. I heard it was rather scary, but I only had damage to a hammock, my back door, and my bookcase. Did you witness the attack yourself?”

“I like it, it’s very nice.” Sophia nodded. “So much was destroyed - the cells were blown up around us. I hid in a guard’s office with a couple other slaves because it was farther inside to avoid having a wall fall on us.”

Acacia’s smile shifted into something a little more confident as she stepped into the cell. “I’m Acacia,” she answered as she held the fruit out to give to the other. “I’m sorry to be nosy, but..I’d heard you came from another city. I..I know I really can’t do anything, but I was hoping that you’re doing okay here. As okay as someone can be, I guess.”

Sophia patted her bed beside her and scooted over, taking the fruit. “Yep, I got here a couple days ago. I guess news travels fast.” She smiled “So far, I’m doing great here - it’s so much better.”

Acacia bit the inside of her cheek as she glanced around. No one was really watching, but then she wasn’t exactly a troublemaker, either. Slipping down the hall to the cell of another slave - the woman she’d heard was from another city. Unable to let her curiosity rest, she tapped lightly on the door frame. “Excuse me, but..your name is Sophia, right?” she asked, peaking tentatively in the room. “I..I brought you this,” she blurted, showing the fruit she’d been hiding in the folds of her oversized shirt. 

“If you want it,” she added a moment later, wondering just how odd she had to seem.”

She looked up at the woman. “Yes?” Sophia smiled and waved her in. “We can share it.” People were already friendlier here than she was expecting, but she always had gotten along better with slaves. “So, you already know my name. What’s yours?”

The mistress allows a thoughtful little hum to follow the other woman’s statement, just as casually twining a few blonde tresses between two fingers. She looks at least more alert at the mention of the attacks, just to give a little displeased purse of her lips. “Tsk. It’s really too bad. I can’t imagine the damage those people caused, and how little it must have gotten the desired outcome. Beyond that though, what have you been accustomed to?”

“Drafty cold cells without much clothing or blankets and rationed out food.” She frowned. “The one afternoon I’ve had here has already been better than the six years at the last city.” Sophia shifted to sitting crosslegged atop her bed. “I hear there were attacks here too. It was pretty terrifying.”

It didn’t take her long to get her hands on the cards, always having some close by to stay occupied. She pulled them out of the box, tossing it aside as she shuffled them. “You sure you’re not gonna sit in my lap?” she teased, settling back in her seat as she started to deal.

She shook her head. “Nope, but I’ll stay right here. Much easier if we’re taking clothes off, and you’ll get a nice view.” Her feet rested outside her thighs with her knees parted as she stayed atop the table. Years ago, the fact they were in a more public location would’ve freaked her out, but she’d gotten used to things like this and even started to enjoy it.
