sketchbook comic: true life encounter with the founding member of the wizards’ league of adamant pedestrians
i made a very small comic (24pgs) that you can now order from Retrofit.
one pager from last year, published in Delebile’s anthology “Sunday”
One-pager I did for the first VISION QUEST free comics newspaper here in Portland.
It’s probably been a year since I posted anything on here, so here is a comic that I did for Study Group magazine a while back.
I did this comic for free comic book day, but now that free comic book day is over I'm putting it up here. Still for free.
li'l comic from my sketchbook.
it's been awhile! the comics i have been working on i can't post yet. and also life, etc. etc. excuses. BUT... i figured I might as well post some sketchbook comics or something, so here you go.
Li'l birthday comic I did yesterday for my sis. She used to carry food around in her cheeks all day like a chipmunk.
some pages that contain some spooky-ish stuff (because it's halloween and that's what you do). there was no word-challenge this week, but i wanted to post something, so here's something.
Word-prompt challenge week 4. The word was "CHOWDER." Things have been a little overwhelming lately and I was only able to finish part 1 of this. Part 2 to follow. (you can see Julianna's here - I think she has a to-be-continued on hers as well).
Comics challenge week 3. The word-prompt was POSTER. I didn't get to do as much with this as I would have liked, but it's 11:58 and I have to post it.
AS SEEN AT POWELLS
This was mesmerizing. And so incredibly strange.
Quick comic for the weekly challenge w/my friend Julianna. The word prompt was FIGURINE. I've been pretty busy with some other projects and I didn't have enough time to flesh out the story, so I feel I have a little explaining to do on this one... "figurine" made me think of how I used to carry around little talisman-like objects in my pockets all the time when I was a kid. This, in turn, reminded me of the above instance (which actually happened) in which I castrated the anatomically-correct baby doll at the doctor's office and... well... stole the disembodied weiner. I don't know why I did this. I was a relatively uptight kid and i found those dolls really disturbing. Please don't judge.
