“A what now?” Soobin’s eyebrows furrows as he looks at you quizzically. He obviously heard what you said, he was just making sure he didn’t misheard. “A cat soobin, the one that meows and-” You started to ramble, failing to notice the look that soobin is sending you. “I mean-” He cuts you off “But why?” He tilts his head at you. You giggle at him cutely “I just thought that this place could use a little cuteness, that’s all.” You answer him, tilting your head as well. Soobin didn’t seem to be pleased with your answer as his mouth fell agape.
“What does that mean?” He whines at you “Am i not cute enough?” Gosh, he is adorable. You reach over and pinch his cheeks cutely. “You are the cutest soobin, but you’re not an animal, and the cat could accompany me when you’re not home as well.” You reasoned with him while ruffling his hair. His pouting still resumed as he continued whining about how he’ll get replaced by the cat. “I thought i was the only that you needed, turns out i was wrong..” He got up from the bed and started walking towards the door of your bedroom.
“Soobin, noo..” It was your turn to whine as you started catching up to him and wrapped your arms around his waist. “You are the only one i need soobin,” He started smiling again, “But wouldn’t a cat be useful as well?” His smile dropped as quick as it appeared. Soobin started walking again, still with your arms around him. “Might as well date a cat instead,” He mumbled under his breath, making you giggle. You moved in front of him to block him from walking further. “But I don't want to date a cat, I want to date you!” You exclaimed and stood up on your tippy toes to kiss him all over his face. He started giggling at you and lifted you up all of a sudden, making you squeal.
“Soobin! What are you doing? Put me down!” You squirmed around, making him hold you tighter. “Nope, i’m not putting you down.” Walking towards your shared bedroom again and throwing you on the bed. Soobin started putting his whole weight on your body, making you practically squished. “S-soobin, can’t breathe-!” You started pushing him off you until he rolled over. “But you’re so warm!” He rolled over again and started hugging you like a pillow, nuzzling his face into your neck. “You smell so nice..” He murmured into your neck. You started stroking his hair gently. “Really?” He hummed against you as a ‘yes’. It was quiet for a moment, until you broke the silence.
“Binnie” You whispered against his hair, he only hummed in response. “I love you..” You kissed his hair softly as his eyes fluttered open, looking at you adoringly. He reached for your hand and kissed it. “I love you too..” You smile widely, not being able to conceal your happiness and start to cup his face, kissing all over it. A small smile started to show on soobin’s face as well, clearly enjoying the attention. “y/n..” You hummed softly, “what is it, bin?” You looked at him expectedly. “Does this mean you won’t want a cat anymore?” His face lights up, making you sigh in defeat. “Whatever you say binnie, whatever you say..” He only smiles cheekily.
Pulling you closer, he puts his chin on your head and strokes your cheek softly. Soft snores eventually filling the room, soobin looks down to see you asleep as he smiles to himself. “What a cute little thing” he mumbles as he yawns, starting to feel sleepy as well. Both of you embracing each other as the moon starts to illuminate the both of you softly. Safe and comforted.
