“You know, I do enjoy a good shopping trip but I thought you told me you came back to bring me some fun.” Leo smirked as he watched Soren, absolutely thrille they were hanging out but she didn’t need to know that. All of these years and she still managed to be one of his closest friends. “At least tell me you’re gonna feed me soon.” @sorenhawkins·
"Do you know how many people would give their left testicle to watch me try on clothes? Be grateful,” Soren teased. “Damn, fun and food? When did you get so needy? There’s a Mediterranean spot by my place we can try. I hear it’s bomb.”

“A few weeks ago I thought vacationing in Aspen would be fun but after all this… I’m starting to think tropical is the only way to go.” Nixon grimaced out the window of St. Elmo’s. “What do you think? Belize or Hawaii?”
Nixon was one of the athletes Soren’s dad thought had potential so she was more familiar with him on the court and at events her parents attended than anywhere else but she wasn’t about to keep sipping her hot chocolate and ignore his ass. "Belize. I don’t know about you but i’ve had way too many family vacations in Hawaii.”
Just because both of them were technically living on their own now, it didn’t mean they didn’t convene at their parents house for homecooked meals and archived pieces from their moms closet ― or in this case picking furniture for Soren’s duplex. Over two warm bowls of shrimp étouffée, Soren and Siobhan flipped through what felt like their fourth interior design book, “I think you can take it from here. Venus decorated Serena’s house for her. Who knows me better than you?” She insisted before turning her attention to a spoonful of rice. "I still think we should skip to the housewarming party.” @s-hawkins
s-hawkins·:
“Uhm, excuse you—” Siobhan said, hiding her shopping bags behind her in an attempt to take attention off of the fact that yes, she might have made a detour to get herself something stunning for the next event on her calendar. “No, it’s not. You should know.” Siobhan teased her baby sister, although she liked to think she’d been a great big sister to the woman in front of her. She opened the front door to what could possibly be her sister’s home and she was immediately in awe of what she saw. So much so that she continued to take it in as Soren spoke, turning her attention back to her sister once she was done. “One, I resent that Kid comment. And two, Soren… this place is incredible.” Siobhan said, excitedly.  “Girl, is the duplex next door open? Because if it looks anything like this, I’m moving in tomorrow.” She told her sister. “Okay, we need to check the bedrooms and the closet space because you know that’s important to us, Hawkins women.”
Teasing aside, Soren and Siobhan were like the Sun and the Moon, Fire and Ice, JT and Caresha, two women who complimented one another but stood brightly and firmly on their own. Long gone were the days of her preteen outburst of wanting to be more than just Siobhan’s kid sister...well for the most part. Yet and still, she lucked up getting Siobhan for a sister. “You know I love you and Barely Belafonte’s big headed ass.” Siobhan had that look in her eye that was reserved for when she really, really liked something so it didn’t even have to be said but Soren wanted to hear it anyway. “Forreal? You like it? I do too. And girl, we did always say we’d be neighbors.” She winked, nudging her sisters shoulder with her own. “True so true. I think my YSLs and my Jordan’s having separate quarters is long overdue,” she joked. “C’mon, i’m down to look at whatever, you’re the experienced home buyer here not me.”Â
s-hawkins·:
Siobhan couldn’t help but laugh at her sister’s wit, she was truly something else. There was no one like Soren Hawkins and that was just a fact. “You can blame the D.O.G. for that.” Siobhan told her sister, looking down at their puppy— who was now looking up at the two of them. “This is it, huh? Now this is the moment.” Siobhan told Soren as she took in the view. “Then what are we doing out here? Let’s go check out what might be your future home.” Siobhan said, excitedly. “And you on Wallace duty, here.” Siobhan added quickly after, taking the keys from her sister and handing her the newest addition to their face.
“Wallace you see how’s she’s blaming her tardiness on you and not her shopping for the Gala? It’s not easy being the youngest sibling,” Soren joked, shaking her head like a disapproving elder. “The moment your daddy’s been dreading. Wallace, give us a drumroll...oh, better yet, spit something.” Soren looked down at the puppy who just stared back excitedly, mouth agape. “I guess that’s good enough,” she teased. He was just so cute ― It wasn’t long before Siobhan opened the door and they found themselves standing in the recently remodeled duplex. “You know I value your opinion, you’ve only ever been wrong once in your life and his name is Kid, but other than that...I’m kidding. I do want your honest opinion though so if you hate it just say it.” Soren, on the other hand, loved it already. Her mind was swimming with design plans (A portrait here, a plant there) and they’d only made it past the entryway.Â
s-hawkins·:
“Excuse me, excuse me,” Siobhan called out, as her overly excited Rottweiler puppy made his way through the crowd before them. “I’m so sorry. Wallace, stop it.” She commanded the puppy, taking a stand and stopping in her tracks as the puppy finally appeared to listen to her. “Good boy.” Siobhan commented, finding her puppy in front of someone— happily barking up at them.Â
"I know that’s not The Notorious D.O.G,” Soren kneeled down and scratched behind the puppy’s ears before looking up at her sister, “You took long enough!’ She admonished. “This is the Duplex I was telling you about. Daddy’s realtor had to show another listing, but he left us with the keys,” Soren grinned, spinning the key to her potential home around her finger.Â

“Nah nah nah, it was a cramp. Real G’s don’t itch.” Donnie joked, they both know what was up when he jumped, and even though he wasn’t going to admit it, he could still make fun of himself and Lord knows Harmony could. He groaned when she told him that he had to get up and turned to bite the top of her thigh before he did so. “I like it when you call me your baby though. I’m into that, get into that low key possessiveness tho.” Donnie told her as he held his hand out to help her up. It wasn’t lost on him how her eyes lit up and he kept it in the back of his mind to add more old school simple shit into the romance rotation since she enjoyed it so much.Â
Donnie really needed to chill the fuck out if he wanted her to make it to the park. "You are my baby. You prefer it over daddy?” Her tone delved into more of what she sounded like in bed as she took his hand to stand up, teasing him. Once she was up she curled her finger around his necklace. “I’m not possessive---ok I am but you love that shit,” she punctuated her words with a kiss. “We really gotta go though, I don’t need to be in here any longer than I already have. It was cute for the movie but it’s time to go,” Harmony grimaced, leaving the barn first but reaching behind herself for him.
