Not my first OC but turning into the main one (still working on him >-<) - with more depth and more complex history. If you are interested - i want to wish you nice reading :)
Veiryl presents as a gentleman — composed, courteous, and impeccably mannered. Beneath that polished surface, however, operates a mind of surgical precision and stoic calm that would remain steady even under full corporate lockdown. He is demisexual and bisexual — emotional depth is a prerequisite for intimacy (but he never let anyone that close), never a formality. When it comes to adversaries, sentiment has no place in his methodology. He favors knives and power-type pistols — tools that are efficient, direct, and possess a certain quiet elegance. A perfectionist by nature, he extends the same exacting standard to combat as he does to every other domain of his life. Post-Konpeki Plaza timeline: After the failed heist and the chaos surrounding the engram, Veiryl regained consciousness among the refuse of Night City — discarded, forgotten, unwanted. He was located by Goro Takemura with Dexter De Shawn (gladly killed by Goro), who sought information regarding the death of Saburo Arasaka. Veilyr survived but didn't felt any sign of happy emotions. The weight of failure and the deeper corrosion of shame made a return to the Carleo family (name of family where he serves to) untenable — at least in his own judgment. That possibility was formally closed when Sivin Carleo (the current Valentinos boss and father of Maximus) made contact via encrypted message: Veiryl had disgraced his name, failed to prove his worth in Maximus's eyes, and with Arasaka agents actively tracking him, he represented liability rather than asset. Veiryl accepted the terms without visible protest. His internal dissent — present, and not insignificant — was subdued with the same discipline he applied to everything else. He is currently without faction, without a principal, and without a contract - almost forced to operate alone in Night City, accountable to no one, answerable only to himself — a condition he finds both unfamiliar and, in ways he has not yet fully examined....
Thank you for attention ^^
