Yukio then gestures towards one of Azusa’s bandaged hands. “Like your hand…I remember Kanato-san stabbing you with a fork before. He’s not your friend and you shouldn’t let him do that to you.”

‘‘. . .Is it...? But.. I enjoy.. it.’‘ At the attention brought to his bandages, he held his arm protectively against his chest, clasping a hand over the bandaged area.

‘‘...If I.. ask them.. is that... really.. such a.. bad thing...?’‘ Azusa was beginning to dislike the way the direction was taking.

‘‘Kanato-san... Is like that... with everyone. But.. I really don’t mind... it means I get hurt... more.’’

“O-oh, so you know…What I am eh?” Yukio questions, frowning a bit. Well, obviously the vampires could sniff out that he was something other than human, but to hear it declared so boldly was a bit startling to say the least.

“I-I wouldn’t say Kanato-san and I are friends…Or even acquaintances…” The Teddy carrying vampire was one of few things Yukio did not want to think about for a long while, and opted to instead offer the vampire before him a faint smile.

“I-I’m Yukio. And you are? I mean, I’ve seen you around but I guess we’ve never gone out of our way to meet.”

‘‘Is that... so..’‘ Azusa didn’t find that surprising, given how unapproachable the Sakamaki was. Since he saw the two together a few times, it came as an assumption. It didn’t matter much to him either way.

‘’Azusa...’‘ He announced when asked for his name. At that a suggestion came to his mind, ‘’Ne.. if you... want to be friends... then...’’

A step closer, with a hopeful smile, ‘’--Would you... hit me?’’

“U-Um…Pardon, did you need something?” Yukio quips, finally acknowledging yet another vampire that seemed to have been staring at him.

‘’Oh . . . ‘’ So they finally decided to take notice of him. Azusa had been observing whenever they passed by one another. Given his inhuman scent, it was hard not to be wary, even a little bit.

‘’You’re... the one.. who can... transform.. right..?’’ He asked, being that he’s heard a mention of him, and witnessed it for himself. ‘’A friend of... Kanato-san’s...?’’

Now that most of his anger had been manifested into physical violence that he had gotten to express through harming his baby brother, now he was just left with the slowly creeping feeling of guilt and regret.

“…You could have gone for one of my other jackets y’know. That pink one was my favorite.” The idol vampire then pouts, lifting his head up to look Azusa in the face.

“Like seriously, that was one of the first ones I got when I went into the whole idol career.” He quips, reaching to tug at one of Azusa’s loose bandages wrapped around his hands, to just have his hands be doing something as he talks to his brother.

Now he was beginning to regret what he did, only after it was already too late. The face Kou was making had him second guessing his actions, and wish he reconsidered.

‘‘....Sorry.’‘ Guilt ridden eyes looked down, avoiding the other’s gaze. Not much else he was able to say, what was done, was done. Only thing left was to face the consequences afterwards. Hopefully the others wouldn’t be too upset, it’s not as if Kou did it without reason.

‘‘--I could... try.. to fix it..?’‘ But being that he shredded up the jacket pretty badly, such a suggestion would be pointless.

yui doesn’t expect it at first– eyes cast down to the hand holding onto her arm, gripping it. not a single hint or reason as to why he’s so opposed to it being cleaned or being cared for. however, she feels it best to not tread too far into her curiosity and risk upsetting him. his grip wasn’t cruel, but did well to send a message. if that wasn’t enough, his gaze certainly said it all. for someone that was as small as he is, he does have a firm hold.

to prevent further upset, she decides to listen. after all, he must have his own reasons and it’s not for her to be nosy or push into the subject if he’s not so willing to speak of it himself. “ … i can do that … ” she sighs as she reaches to fix the bandages, re- wrapping them tightly enough that they won’t hang loose or even come unraveled. however, the worry of his arm does well to hang in her mind momentarily. “ … c- can vampires get infections, azusa-kun … ? ” the question is random, pulled from thin air as a means to answer her questioning thoughts.

Azusa was relieved when she decided against cleaning his wounds. Just the thought of having his beloved scars vanish was enough to put him on edge. As long as nothing posed a threat to them, then he was fine.

‘Unless... we was harmed by something... meant for.. killing vampires... then it’s unlikely..’‘ The half-blood remained silent, staring at the movement of her hands fixing the bandages on his arms, until she decided to speak.

Hearing that only made her smile bigger. It broguht her some joy to make Azusa happy from good things since he seemed to have so little of that in his life. She let him hurry her out of the school as she tried her best to keep up with him. It didn’t worry her that she had no idea exactly where he was taking her. Yui actually felt like Azusa was one of the few who were gentle enough that she could trust.

‘‘Over... here.’‘ They had arrived at the cafe. There weren’t too many people inside, being that school wouldn’t officially let out for about half an hour. Which made it all the more better.

When they got inside though, Azusa paused for a moment. ‘’...’’ It had only now occurred to him, it wasn’t a ‘normal’ cafe. But then he remembered it was Kou that had brought it up. And well... it would explain why the cafe was full with such laid back furry little pets.

‘‘Hm...’‘ Azusa frowned, ‘‘Maybe... I should have... picked a different... cafe.’‘

She… been asked before, enough times to make her a little self-conscious about it, even more when she liked to think of herself as still a human. Not that was anyone fault, neither his nor hers.

… Still her posture retracted a bit, defensive in vulnerable fashion while her golden eyes looked away from him, over her shoulder and to the ground where the small garden witnesses this strange encounter.

Was he sensing her as witch? Or was he sensing the curse on her? Camellia knew that some did not consider witches the same as humans, but they own category. Also, the curse gave her presence an unnaturality that did not belong to humans.

“I suppose I’m not… It’s complicate to explain.” -Some would say I’m only not a normal human- she doesn’t say. For none had said so to her. “May or may not clarify things, but I am witch.” Camellia also did not mentioned the curse, no reason to it.

“Still much like a human, so I can blend in with ease.” No matter how her petite, delicated built and bond to nature had caused the assumption of the woman being a fae more times than she was comfortable with.

Camellia visibly relaxed with his confirmation, allowing golden eyes to meet his features again with no worries, soothed by the small space he returned to her as well. “Alright then, if you say so.”

She offered him a small smile, timid but honest. “Azusa? That’s a nice name… I’m Camellia.” Although now she couldn’t remember the meaning of his name in specific it had a nice sound to it.

The woman glanced at her door. “Uhn… If we are going to keep talking on these subjects, it’s better to be inside… If you want so, of course. Would you like to go inside, Azusa?”

So he was right. Azusa wasn’t entirely sure what kind of being she was, but it hardly mattered to him in the first place. With how pleasant it was to be near her, it didn’t seem necessary to pry. He didn’t think it was important.

She kind of reminded him of someone. . .

Yes, that’s right.. She had a similar air to her that resembled Yui. Maybe it was kindness she showed, despite only having talked to him for less than a few seconds.

That was probably it, definitely a lot similar to Yui.

Warmth engulfed a smile on his face when she stated her name. Especially after complimenting his own. ‘’It’s... nice to.. meet you..’’

That same smile faltered when she mentioned going inside, to which he contemplated the offer. ‘’Hm...? Inside..? Are you sure... about allowing me... inside your home..?’’

Not that he was going to cause any harm, but to think she’d allow a completely random person, no less a vampire into her home. He wasn’t against it though. . .

Azusa was more shocked over the fact that Kanato even went out of his way to speak of him, even if it was out of bad taste dude to them never getting along with each other. He lacked any care over the matter, being that he really didn’t have a reason to get along with him to begin with.

With the purple haired Sakamaki’s personality, it was a wonder if anyone could get along with him to begin with.

‘‘...I don’t... really.. understand Kanato-san...’‘ He honestly confessed, ‘‘But... I don’t care for him.. enough to try to..’‘
