SNGP Annual Report by Ermolaev Bureau
The Annual Report is a part of a big project for the new visual identity for Severneftegazprom company. This Annual Report is one of the outcomes and it represents the new visual style to the partners and employees of the company. One of the main points of the creative brief was to keep the initial shape of the logotype and company’s colours, that is why we saved the colours (navy blue, blue and red), but selected new shades of them and adjusted the logotype proportion. The company’s aim is the development and building of infrastructure for one of Russia’s largest oil-gas-condensate fields, the key resource for the Nord Stream gas pipeline. Severneftegazprom conducts prospecting and geological exploration as well as collecting, treating, and marketing natural gas. We have laid out the logotype of the company components and got three basic graphic elements that represent the company’s activities: – point – field and exploration, this could be compared with a point on a map, because field and geological exploration are the starting point of the activity of the company.
- the vertical line could be compared with the well drilling and gas collection.
- the horizontal line represents the final stage of activity – transportation, because collected gas is transported to Europe through the Nord Stream pipeline. The main principle of the visual identity system are graphic compositions based on the point, vertical and horizontal lines that gives an abstract association with the company’s activity. Photos toned in the company’s colours with graphic elements are used in the design because we wanted to show that the field is located in a unique, beautiful place.
FTRT typeface by George Strouzas
The FTRT (MS: Monospace) typeface has been designed exclusively in order to help in the designing process of experimental logos and titles in posters and flyers.
Södermalm by Johan Skybäck
This Typeface design project started as a university assignment, now six years ago. More work is required to finish it, but I'm still quite fond of these display compositions that made up part of a concertina booklet. Named after a part of central Stockholm, Södermalm, this typeface was designed with inclusive (not exclusive) elegance in mind. Inspiration was drawn from faces such as Bodoni, Didot, Centennial, Walbaum and Mrs Eaves.
Information graphics in context by Peter Ørntoft
The project deals with information graphics and social related interests of the Danish people. I have used the context of specific opinion polls within each interest to shape and design diagrams to understand more layers of information about the data.

The book contains architects and comtemporary artists such as Snøhetta, Olafur Eliasson, Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects and Henning Larsen Architects. The graphic elements presented in the book is an interpretation between northern lights and architectural sketching. Available upon request.
Journalisten Magazine by Phong Phan
Journalisten is a monthly magazine sent out to union members of the Danish Union of Journalists. The redesign consists of a new logotype and direction for the editorial design. The main articles have received individual type treatment to make the content stand out from the rest. With the new direction the articles in Journalisten are suppose to look more appetizing, and hereby letting the in depth articles in the magazine stand stronger. Made as a project at the School of Visual Communication.
