I maintain an opinion that I honestly canโt remember if Iโve mentioned before, but I think itโs not that Roy is *useless* in the rain as much as heโs *uncontrolled* in the rain.
We all saw him in episode 19: Death of the Undying. We saw that his array can do more than just manipulate gas, but it can deconstruct water itself. He could dry his gloves if he really, truly needed to, but what would that leave? A whole lot of hydrogen. And hydrogen doesnโt burn โ it explodes. I think he kinda likes having hands.
And, letโs be real: Roy is more dangerous *because* of his perfect control.
