It’s been a while since I last posted. In between creating I’m gathering my thoughts and emotions. For the past few months I have been working on and for myself and doing gigs here and there. It’s been rough and it’s also been the most enjoyable since I quit my job of 3 years as a grocery manager. The pandemic has put a tax on regular life in a way I refuse to pay with my mental health. Lately im coming into my power and influence and it’s been an up hill battle. I find myself in constant spurts of thought of the next thing to come. Lately I’m having speak my peace and be in a healthy space at any cost. Those who know me know Houdini. Essentially this is an idea that came to me to paint my dreams. This idea came after a night mare I had, at one of the darkest points of my life. Feeling overjoyed, I turned 30 a week ago just did a art show this past weekend. Both days were a success. I sold two paintings;1 print and another mixed media expression. Special thanks to Chevi Chung and the rest of dedicated members of the Tacoma arts live community. All the hard work you all put in for this event truly made it easy for artist to come and showcase what they love doing.

I met a lot of different artist and had the opportunity to network and connect with a bunch of talented individuals. Shout out to Tori Mori!

I look forward to more events like this.
