Despite everything, it is still absolutely vital that you vote in 2026 and 2028, if you can.

Not because I believe that the Democrats can magically solve everything, though I do absolutely believe that the average Democrat is better than the best Republican.

Not even because I believe that the elections will be fair, or the results honoured if they go against Republicans, though a rigged election can be the impetus for mass uprisings.

But because whatever happens, however the Regime ends (and it will end, they always do), there will have to be an After. Something will have to be built out of the ruins that Tr*mp and his cult and their oligarch backers have made of America.

And there will have to be a process for deciding what that something is.

And in the end, that's going to come one of two ways:

It's either going to be the side who wins a violent conflict imposing their vision by force of arms and purging everyone who disagrees (which is just MAGA's vision of the world all over again).

Or it's going to be decided by votes.
