I have never been a big musical or theater person. If it wasn't High School Musical then I couldn't tell you anything about putting together a show that includes acting, dancing, and singing. Todrick's rendition of The Wizard of Oz is not only inventive, awe-inspiring, etc. it's also something that a lot of people can connect to and understand. I am someone who lives for music that I can easily dance to and Dumb gives me just that. Along with a great beat the song also has meaningful lyrics that strikes a chord with me every time I listen to it. Sadly, the musical is on it's last show in Pennsylvania but a little taste of the show is up on Todrick's YouTube channel. You can watch the corresponding videos separately or you can watch the 53 minute compilation that tells you the story behind each song. I'm in love with everything that is Straight Out of Oz and I hope that Todrick brings the show back so I can see it live.
At first listen I was intrigued by the sound that was Drop. Halle's voice is very theatrical and sweet, while Chloe has that more "Beyoncé-esqe" sound. Together they sound incredible and I am quickly falling in love with these two girls. Drop has a great beat, with the sound being a mixture of rock guitar riffs, and synth drum sounds. The song makes me want to get up and groove whenever I hear it, and I can't wait for what these girls have in store.
I’ve been obsessed with Korean hip-hop for a while now, and one of my favorite rappers is Beenzino. His rap style is light and comical with danceable beats. He has a great voice that draws you in, and makes you wish that you spoke Korean so you could rap along to the song. Can’t wait for him to drop another album.
Love this remix of Ella Eyre’s “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off”
The stormy weather that I experienced today had me in the mood for more atmospheric sounds, and this song was absolutely perfect. Alina Baraz and Galimatias make a perfect combination, with everything they make being pure perfection. Alina has such a beautiful, soft-toned, smooth voice that reminds me of a sweet lullaby. Galimatias matches her voice perfectly, and together the sounds created make a slow, cool vibe that I find myself constantly in the mood for. When you're in need of a more chill-step vibe I definitely suggest you look them up.
If you’re into RNB, chill step fusion then you will love this song. DEAN is a Korean RNB artist whose sound is a more clean version of the Weeknd’s. His smooth vocals are everything you need to set the mood for a good night. This song is on a constant repeat for me for this summer, and I hope it quickly becomes one of your favorites.
Drake is overplayed and he`s not even a good lyricist. Wannabe rapper
Sounds like you`re mad cause Drake is the Champagne Father and you`re a Sparkling Wine Uncle.
I am laughing so hard right now omfg
😂😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I was actually surprised by how much I fell in love with this song. I had heard a few songs by Jaden before and I didn't really like them. Cool Kids reminded me of a little wannabe teenage rapper coming out with some music that they hoped would get them noticed. After a while I forgot about him until this song popped up on my sound cloud recommend list. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me and has now become a staple in my playlist. This is a great song.
Banks sound is so pleasing, especially when you are in need of some soothing but emotional music. The electronic undertones put you in a trance while her vocals draw you in even more. This album is amazing.
