Burnt Pasts: A Derek Hale Oneshot
Background:You and Derek have been friends since childhood. You’d been with him in his darkest days and that of Paige’s death and now, after Jennifer Blake’s true identity as a Darach. The revelation had broken Derek’s heart especially since it was the first time he had fallen in love again since he returned to Beacon Hills. But now as the two of you, and the rest of the pack began to recover, there are secrets between the both of you that began to surface…
Even with Jennifer killed, there still remained a sorrowful and almost grieving aura around Derek. You and Peter were in Derek’s apartment. Though Peter was unwelcome, he had been a bit of a good side in him as he placed his trust on you to look after his nephew.
“You’re one of the only person he has left, (y/n).” Peter whispered but you both knew Derek could hear from his bed a floor above.
Peter and you were standing side by side, unable to face each other as you were still disdainful of him. “I know,” You replied, your arms crossed and sticky with blood.
He cleared his throat, looking down at his shoes awkwardly before speaking — “I’ll leave him to you then.” He bid his goodbye and left the apartment, leaving Derek and you alone.
You looked up to the second floor and sighed, taking a look at your hands stained with Jennifer’s blood, recalling your brawl with her. Heading upstairs, you saw Derek lying on his side, back faced to you. With his slow and almost painful breathing, it was obvious how hurt he was. He had removed his torn jacket and shirt, and his shoes leaving nothing except his pants and socks.
You went inside the bathroom and saw your rugged self in the mirror. The wounds were healing as you removed your jacket. Turning around, only in your white tank top, there were three large gnashes so deep it took longer to heal. You tossed your jacket into the laundry basket and removed your heavy boots. Glancing to the door to see Derek, he remained still. You sighed, washing your face, your hands and arms before returning to the room with a warm and wet towel.
Looking at Derek lying so still reminded you of the time when Paige died, the days after. He was heart-broken beyond repair, unresponsive for about a month. It took a whole lot of effort for Talia, Cora, Laura, and you to help him back on his feet and afterwards he was back to normal but still fragmented. But with no more Hale family members to help, it was up to you to do so. And it broke your heart to see him like this once again and after when he had fallen in love for the first time in years.
“Derek,” You finally called. It had taken a lot of confidence to even utter his name. He didn’t answer nor stir, it was normal and took this chance to go about the bed and to the side that he faced.
Derek was staring into the distance, his face dirty with specks of dirt and droplets of blood, and his body covered in bruises and marks that would heal soon enough. Though through his emotional pain, the wounds were healing slower than natural. You bent down on the floor, close to him and began wiping his forehead with the towel. He didn’t move as you continued to clean his cheek gently and slowly
“Derek, remember when we were kids and I cried over a boy who dumped me?” You tried in a hushed and almost silent tone.
Derek’s eyes turned to you and you smiled at that small but meaningful gesture.
“Remember him? Lawrence was his name and I was only thirteen. He dumped me for being too masculine, remember?” You chucked. “And remember what you did to comfort me?”
Derek finally replied but hoarsely, “I made fun of you then we went to prank the asshole.”
Both of you managed to laugh weakly as if you were afraid to break the peaceful yet suffocating silence. But afterwards, silence dominated you both. Even though it was claustrophobic, you continued to clean Derek’s wounds, making sure that he was not alone any longer.
“(y/n),” Derek breathed, sitting up slowly and painfully like it had been a task for him.
“What is it?” You asked, sitting beside him.
He was speechless for a moment and when you and he locked eyes, it didn’t take another second for him to break down into tears. And you instinctively embraced him, his head on your shoulders as his tears ran down your skin. His whimpers broke your heart that you couldn’t help but shed tears as well, hushing and telling him “it’s okay,” repeatedly.
“I’m here, Derek. I’m here.” You soothed, hoping it would have a bit of effect on his already shattered heart.
He held your forearm tightly as his tears ran down your neck. You let him cry, his emotional breakdown in parallel aggresiveness since Paige. In that moment, it was if the both of you had aged back into the reckless and carefree sixteen year olds facing life’s harshest realities. You held him protectively, a tear falling from your left eye as you couldn’t bear to look down and see him hurt. He clutched like a child onto your body, searching for refuge and you gladly gave it to him once more.
"I’m here,” You forced yourself to remain firm and you gave his head a long kiss for comfort. “You’re not alone.”
Derek raised himself, taking your right hand in his–“(y,n), I can’t take this anymore. Why do the women I love hurt me so much?”
You were speechless, unable to answer him. “I don’t know, Derek. I’m sorry.” You murmured embarrasingly.
He pulled back, growling in a fit of rage all of a sudden. He jerked up and stood, replacing his cries with an enraged howl. In a frozen state, you watched both anger and sorrow toss the lamp onto the wall, shattering it in the process. It was when he began thrashing things that you grabbed him, “Derek, stop it!”
His strength exceeded yours at his current state of anguish and he tore a pillow, the feathers bursting into the air. You pleaded desperately, placing yourself in front of him and embracing him. He slowed down, his heavy breathing against your neck as his hands wandered your back. “Stop this,” You begged with a sigh. His arms tighened around you, and you felt his tears though tamed, wet your shoulder.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Derek whimpered.
You pulled back and made him look at you, your palm against his cheek. Both of you locked eyes, his pupils dilating. Then time seemed to have stopped for the both of you, his eyelids heavy and his eyes swollen red from crying. Your heart skipped when he suddenly, pressed his lips on yours.
It was the second time you and Derek had kissed. The first had occured a month after Paige when Derek was recovering and was able to stand on his own once more. You were with him, running around the forest which ended in a friendly spar that pinned you both on the ground. The moment had changed your life forever when he kissed you first, a string of passion that ended when you both realize it was wrong. It came to a halt and both of you acted like nothing happened until the accident that you caused.
The fire that engulfed the forest with the Hales almost trapped in the blaze was the cause of a disturbed emotion in you that magically conjured flames from your very hands. And it was fueled more with fear. You decided then to leave with the help of Talia, mom, to help fake your death. For years you remained dead to the Hale until the news that they were killed by fire, an ironic turn that made you return. And now, Derek was here and you withdrew from his embrace in panic.
“(y/n),” Derek muttered. “What’s wrong?”
“This isn’t right,” You said, without looking at him in the eye. “It’s confusing.”
The passion had somehow emitted a smoke from within you and you stared at your fingers that had flickers of flames. Closing them into a fist, you went to the bathroom and poured water into your hands.
“(y/n), it’s okay.” Derek appeared at the door. “I didn’t mean to take you by surprise,”
“No. It’s not that.” You looked at the mirror, a whole mess staring right back at you. “Hasn’t it become common for you to look for me for comfort after every girl that broke your heart?”
You had scoffed repeating what you said in your head, removing your dirty tank top.
“It isn’t like that,” He responded.
“Then what is?”
“I’ve been looking at the wrong person,” Derek confessed, a tear falling from his eye.
“Shouldn’t you have thought about it when we saw each other for the first time in years? We kissed before but that was it.”
“You remembered?”
“When you kissed me just now. I tried my best to remove all memory of you and everyone when I left but somehow I wanted to go home when I found out that everyone died in a fire… A fire! The very reason I left Beacon Hills and it’s ironic that it should be the cause of our family’s death.”
“It doesn’t matter anymore. You’re trying to control it!”
“It’s still a work in progress but when you kissed me-” A tear fell from your eye, your chest aching. “I didn’t feel anything for you but there was a small part of me that yearned for you. I denied it all especially when you fell for Jennifer.”
“I wasn’t thinking straight.”
“You were smitten. You loved her because you never loved ever since Paige.”
“I fell in love with you after her! When we kissed in the forest and we both, like cowards, ran away from it.” He bellowed.
“You were recovering from Paige! I didn’t want you to look at me like some backup and tool to ease your pain!” You shouted. “And I looked at you like a brother and I prefered it then to be like that!”
Derek stomped his way in and pulled you to another kiss and withdrew, your lips ached at the sudden absence.
“I know you’re lying if you say you don’t feel anything for me.” His cold eyes that masked so much sadness gazed firmly into your eyes. “I thought I was protecting our relationship if I didn’t do anything to reveal my true feelings for you. You were unreadable. You acted like nothing happened between us but I couldn’t help myself any longer. I thought I could replace you with someone else but I was fooling myself, I was running away from you, from my own emotions…”
You bit your lip while your eyes watered, unable to hide your suppressed emotions any longer. “I don’t want to end up like all the other women you loved.”
“You won’t be. You never was. I promise you that.” He soothed, his palms on your blushing cheeks. “You were with me all this time, in my heart even when I thought you died. You never left, you hurt me so much I couldn’t bear it. I want to love you, just let me do so.”
“And if I accidentally burn you?” You smirked somehow, showing your playful side despite the tears.
“I trust you have some control to prevent that from happening.”
You burst out laughing, wiping your tears as Derek kissed your forehead. His hands wandered to the back of your thighs and lifted you up, your lips finding solace in each other’s and you wrapped your legs around him.
“I’m thankful that we met, when mom adopted you into the family. You were there for me when others weren’t espeially now that most of the family had been murdered - except for Peter.” He breathe in disdain.
You gave an amused smile, “I know. But at least, we get to bully him.”
He chuckled, “I look forward to doing that with you.”
Both of you exchanged laughter before taking you back to the bedroom, pinning you down on the bed as he began smothering your skin with soft to aggressive kisses. In which led to both of you making love for the first time.

I keep seeing comments about how idols don’t have the right to complain or feel sad because they’re “celebrities” who are “rich”. Honestly, that makes me really mad. Idols are humans too. They have their own thoughts, emotions, and feelings. They’re not perfect, just like us, and that’s okay. I understand that some people may not like some idols for certain reasons. However, that does NOT give you the right to be leaving hateful/hurtful comments on their social media accounts or music videos.
The idea that mental illnesses are not real needs to stop. Mental health issue is very much a real and serious issue. Idols have their own problems and struggles that we fans will never know about unless we become idols ourselves. You can’t just go around telling them how to feel or what to do because you have this particular view of them. They’re always under constant pressure to be “perfect” and that’s already hard enough on them. They do NOT need any hateful/hurtful comments to read. For all you know, those words could be the last straw.
Ever since the devastating news about Jonghyun was announced, I keep seeing those terrible comments about him and other idols. That’s why I decided to make this post talking about just a few idols who talk about these issues. Isn’t one death enough for you all?? How many deaths does there need to be until you realize that this is a serious issue that needs to be handled delicately? Why do you have to continue to criticize idols and tell them to go die just because they’re not doing/didn’t do something exactly the way you want them to? Why do you make their mental health issues invalid simply just because they’re celebrities? Remember that these idols are human beings too. Think before you post, comment, or say anything. Once you say it, it cannot be taken back. Don’t say something that you’ll regret later on. This goes for any mental health issues regarding a human being, idol or not.
just gonna put this out there, Derek has really cute ears ^w^
A Derek Hale Oneshot/Alternate Universe
In an alternative universe, Derek Hale is not the werewolf you knew but an unlucky man whom struggled in underground crime and drug overdose. You met him in a cafe - old school romance but the happiness was cut short where you almost died at the hands of the people he used to work with. He was forced to break his relationship with you and succumbed once more to self-loathing and depression when he realized he wanted to be with you but couldn’t. He called you nonetheless, a simple but crucial act that made you run back to him only to find him aiming a gun at his head, contemplating suicide…
“Derek put the gun down please!” You pleaded.
“No, stay back (y/n)!” He threatened cocking the gun against his head, ready to fire.
“No!” you shrieked, tears falling. “Stop!”
He trembled as he sobbed, weak and pale. His tears were a river as he pointed the gun onto his head, the clock ticking and your heart racing. You didn’t know when he would shoot as you slowly approached him, begging him nonstop to drop the weapon.
“I don’t want to live anymore,” he whimpered.
“Tell me why at least,” You breathed, hands raised in front of you as if surrendering, afraid of the power waiting in the barrel of the gun.
“I don’t deserve you,” he continued, the gun still pointing at his head.
You panicked when his finger was lightly pressing on the trigger. You were shaking beyond belief, ran immediately when you received the call until you were out of breath just to reach him. Now that he was in front of you, ready to take his own life, you were helpless. You knew all too well that words weren’t powerful enough to prevent him from pulling the trigger but that was the only thing you were capable of and you knew you had to try.
You loved him with all you heart and you knew that he was capable of doing more good in his life than you could ever do. Maybe you were being selfish because you didn’t want to let him go but at the same time, suicide was never the answer. You were beside him at his happiest and now at his worst and nothing was going to make you leave him.
“Derek, love.” Your voice croaked as you came closer to him. “Please don’t do this. Taking your own life isn’t the answer,”
“They’re going to come after you if I don’t do it,” he stuttered, choking on every word he spoke in utterable tears. “I don’t deserve you even.”
“No, don’t say that. You know how much I love you, I was stupid not to have said it sooner but I am saying it now…” You said. “So please, put the gun down.”
“You won’t be safe with me,” he warned, eyes swollen and red from crying.
“I already risked my life when I decided to stay with you through it all, I don’t care about them. I care about you,” Your tears were on par with his. Imagining you life without him was nothing but full of shadow and regret and you couldn’t let him leave you this way.
“Derek, Derek, I love you so much so please let the gun go.” you huffed, your hands slowly reaching for the gun.
You gasped when he released it and fell on the ground. Fortunate enough, the landing didn’t trigger it and shoot any of you. You felt a huge burden being lifted off from your chest as You threw yourself to embrace him.
“Don’t you ever do that again!” I cried against his neck.
He slowly fell on his knees and you followed and became his support. He cried, cheeks against your chest and his hands clinging onto your back.
“I was so afraid,” he murmured.
“I know, I know. I was too,” You sighed.
You held his face up and was hurt by the sight of him. He was barely recognizable. His lips were chapped, eyes were red, his cheekbones had become too prominent and there were bruises everywhere.
“It’s a good thing you aren’t bleeding,” You said in relief. “The drugs have taken their toll on you sweetheart, it hurts me to see you like this.”
“The reason why I believed I didn’t deserve you,” he shuddered, holding your warm hands against his that were freezing cold.
“Don’t you ever say that again.” You finished, rubbing his hands. “Can you walk? Let’s go to the kitchen and I’ll heat some water,”
You took off your coat and wrapped it around him, leading him to the kitchen where he sat on the stool behind the counter. You watched as he rested his head on the surface before you heated some water for him.
“We need to get you to the hospital, remove the pills out of your system.” You said passing the mug to him. “Careful it’s hot.”
Slouching, he pulled the mug close to him and started blowing weakly.
“Drink up,” You continued. “I’m going to clean everything and throw them away.”
You exited the kitchen, picked up the gun first and removed the barrel. You stared at the mess on the coffee table; the drugs, the pills all scattered about.
You began wondering how many he had taken before I went to him. The panic hadn’t ceased and you became worried sick, hoping the dosages weren’t fatal.
The pile fit right in your arm before tossing them all into the fireplace. You turned it on and watched as the fire slowly began to consume the pills and the plastic bags. You took some paper to help arouse the fire and speed the process before returning to the kitchen.
Derek was taking the warm water sip by sip. You waited for him to finish and soon, the color on his cheeks returned slowly.
“Come on, I need to take you to the ER.”
“The ER? I’m not in danger,” he replied.
“I don’t know how much you’ve consumed Derek and I’m worried. Just let me take you to the ER,”
“The police-”
“You’re health is more important now, god Derek. There’s so many pills on the table… And I’m sure the powder scattered all over isn’t milk.”
He couldn’t look you in the eye.
You held his chin, turning his head to face you as you leaned closer. With hooded eyes struggling to keep them open, he looked into yours. And you couldn’t help but feel love for the man despite seeing him in such a huge mess. With the way he treated you, loved you in return with the absence of judgement, you fell mad. Now it was clear that despite this mans past and history in the criminal world, he was the one.
“Don’t you ever leave me Hale,” You said in a struggle, resisting the tears that wanted to escape.
“You won’t leave me?” He whimpered, his hand against your cheek.
“Why would I? I’d never loved a person like this before,” You smiled, wiping one of his tears. “You look like a child.”
He chuckled weakly.
“I love you,” You breathed.
He jerked from his seat, startling you before he pulled you into a tight embrace. And after he raised you head, his lips met yours
“I love you (y/n). What did I do to deserve you?” He cried.
“Nothing. I merely came into the scene despite the warnings, the threats, and I’m never turning back.”
You took him to the nearest hospital. The doctor found a collection of different pills resting in his stomach much to your shock and relief. He had his stomach pumped and removed of the substances before he was sent to a room to fully rest and receive full medical attention.
He fainted due to fatigue as he was taken to his room. You remained by his side, holding onto his hand as he slept soundly even until one in the morning where you finally fell asleep.
“Ms. (y/s)?” The nurse knocked.
I awoke simply at the sound of being called. And I instantly raised myself, “Yes?”
“Mr. Hale has two visitors,”
“Who is it?”
“Two men - Peter and Fred,”
“That’s his uncles, let them in please.”
She nodded her head before gesturing the two men to enter.
“Hey (y/n), thanks for calling us a few hours ago.” Peter said.
“Derek wouldn’t want to see us but I’m glad you called. We rushed all the way from Queens,”
“I’m glad you’re here. You’re the only family he’s got here - Cora is in Japan so she’d be in a plane now I think.” You said. “And it’s time he made amends.”
The fearless men sat beside the bed on the other side, looking at Derek with brotherly concern. It’s almost as if the two of them were lamenting.
You brushed his hair with your fingers when slowly he began to open his eyes. And the first word he said was your name.
“I’m here,” You replied, taking a hold of his hand and kissing it.
“Uncle Peter? Uncle Fred? What’re you doing here?” He muttered.
“We worried sick kid,” Peter said. “(y/n) called us.”
“I knew she would,” Derek smiled. “She doesn’t like family conflict.”
“For the record she hates us just the same,” Fred reminded.
You glared at him with a grin, “And I’m setting aside the hate for his sake and for mine as well. Family is all we have in the end,”
“True,” Derek sighed. “And I don’t have the strength to beat you both so I’ll just let everything go. I’m exhausted and I want my sleep,”
You laughed and so did Peter and Fred.
“Go ahead werewolf,” Fred said. “We’ll be here.”
Derek smiled before he looked at you with gratitude. And he raised his hand so he could touch your lips. His eyes lowered and he took a deep breath when you leaned in to give him a soft kiss and moments after, he was finally able to sleep.
Hi there! Thank you for reading (Disclaimer: I don’t romanticize depression nor suicide nor drug use/these are just cruel aspects of life that need to be addressed) And as you have noticed, this one shot has a message. To those struggling with any sort of vice in life or suffering from depression etc. and contemplating suicide - PLEASE, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There are people out there who love you and care for you! Don’t hesitate to reach out for help be it a loved one or a mere stranger. There are people who care! If you need anyone to talk to, don’t hesitate to send me a message and we’ll talk it you sweetheart… God bless :)

A Derek Hale Imagine Series (Part 4)
Background:You are an omega wolf or at least that’s what you think you are/special agent who returns to Beacon Hills after being suspended for failing a mission. Beacon Hills is your childhood home and are long-forgotten friends with Derek Hale. You are currently a teacher at Beacon Hills high school, trying to live a normal life until Derek Hale returns (whom you’ve thought was dead long ago) and trouble ensues within the town. And the succeeding events makes it harder for you to control your ‘other’ abilities
Setting takes place in episode 1
CHAPTER 4: Secret
“There’s a full moon on Friday,” You mentioned as you took a sip of your milkshake.
Derek sat by your side at the porch with his own can of beer, looking up at the night sky - “Yeah.”
“Do you need -”
“Help to control it? No. I’ve got it handled,”
You nodded, “Good.”
“How about you?”
The thought made you smile.
“The moon never bothered me anyhow, something else is bothering me now.”
“Is that something the very same reason you left Beacon Hills?”
There was silence as you couldn’t comprehend, staring at the woods that you had engulfed in a destructive flare. You were only sixteen and incredibly clueless and vulnerable. Talia Hale was the only one whom you confided in, whom took you in and nurtured you. And yet there was no doubt that you were more of a danger than those around you.
How could you explain to him that you had other ‘powers’ other than being a werewolf? Or tell him that you started believing you may not be a werewolf and something else stranger and unnatural?
“(Y/n) you’re spacing out again,” Derek whispered.
“Sorry, I just don’t know when to start.”
“Maybe the reason why you left Beacon Hills, you can start with that.
“You’re not going to let this go now are you?” You frowned, looking at him in the eye.
“I want to know.” He turned to face me, leaning close. “If Cora and Laura were here, they would do the same.”
You were having second thoughts and Derek saw through you.
“We were close. All of us. Even though you weren’t a Hale and just a girl who turned up out of nowhere, you became one of us. You’re family.” He continued.
Hearing him say such sensitive words made your heart ache. With his stoic and brooding appearance he didn’t seem like the type but you remembered the sweet and vulnerable boy that was your age, the one that you left without a word years ago.
“I know that secret is troubling you. You made it clear. But why is it so bad that you can’t even tell me about it? Me, the person you always share your secrets with?”
The first autumn rain began to pour and you sighed, breathing in the crisp and damp air.
“(Y/n),” Derek called, snapping his fingers in front of your face.
“I heard every word you said.” You murmured. “And if I did tell you the reason why, you’d think differently of me. Even I’m questioning who I am and what I am.”
“What do you mean? You’re a werewolf, just like the rest of us.” He replied.
“That’s the thing. I’m starting to think I’m more than that,”
He didn’t reply, his eyes full of doubt. It was expected that he would but if you showed him, he would no doubt be shocked at the revelation.
“Fine. No more secrets between us but promise me something first,” You sighed.
“What is it?”
“Make sure no one knows that we know each other. I’m trying to live a normal life here so please bear with me,”
“I can live with that.”
“Alright.” You concluded, getting up and jumping off the porch and onto the open as the rain.
“What are you doing?” He shouted.
“It’s safer this way. Just watch,” you shouted back. “Just… Don’t be too surprised.”
This was the worst idea and worst decision you had made. It was still a challenge to control your abilities and now you were going to show the worst of the worst, the chances high that you could black out and lose control.
Derek watched in silence as you stood still under the pouring rain. And after a moment, he almost jerked up when ominous blue flames loomed over your body. You slowly turned around and your eyes glowed orange and red as the flames grew stronger despite the downpour.
Your eyes closed as the energy flowed through your veins. And you felt your bones shift, looking down at your hands black claws began to form. You panicked as your began to transform, your thoughts in shambles as the rain poured hard onto your skin. With a roar you harnessed the energy and led them to a tree that exploded into flames.
Then everything went black.
“(Y/n), (y/n!)” Derek’s voice woke you up and when you came to, you sat up with a startled jerk.
You grabbed his arms frantically and squeezed his jacket, “Did the forest catch fire? Did I hurt anybody?”
“No, no you didn’t. The rain stopped the fire thankfully but you collapsed. Are you okay?” He asked, brushing stray hair off your cheeks.
“Don’t make me do it again Derek,” you cried. “I was so scared. I thought I hurt you, I didn’t know what I hit.”
Derek surrounded you in his arms as you sobbed, unable to utter a word to comfort you knowing it would be useless.
“I’m here,” Derek managed to say. “I’m not hurt. You didn’t hurt anybody…”
“I did. I did. I did. People were killed because of me,” You cried as you remembered all the times you allowed your emotions to control you thus resulting in complete destruction.
“It doesn’t matter, I know what kind of person you are and you are not a killer.”
“Don’t let me go please. I don’t want the monster to escape,”
“You are not a monster.” He countered, brushing your hair. “Come on (y/n), listen to me please. You are not a killer,”
You shuddered against him, shivering.
“Come on, let’s get you home. I’ll drive.” He said.
The rain continued to pour as you sat on your favorite window seat, facing the outside with a blanket around you. You traced the droplets racing down the glass before a pair of hands made themselves felt on your shoulders.
“Are you feeling much better?” He asked.
“I am. Thank you,” you smiled, holding his hand.
Derek exhaled before sitting beside you. He locked eyes with you and you sensed that he wanted to add something, judging from the longing stare.
“What?” You murmured.
He chuckled sweetly, “When I look at you, I imagine ourselves still young and naive. It’s amazing how so much time had passed and I didn’t recognize you when I first saw you.”
“You were slow.” You laughed.
“Well I didn’t want to believe because I thought you were dead. I would assume I’m hallucinating,”
“Well you’ve changed so much as well. You lost your baby face and got jaws that could cut deep,”
He laughed, leaning against the window - “I do look different.”
You touched his face, feeling his cheeks and his warm skin. You smiled and so did he.
“Remember Paige?” He said out of the blue.
“I thought you never wanted to mention her again,”
“I know but what happened after when I wanted to die as well,” he began. “You were there for me. You put a blanket on me just like how I did for you and made sure I wasn’t alone just like how I’m doing for you now… It seems like I finally returned your kindness.”
“Derek it’s nothing. Family’s got to look out for each other,”
His eyes lowered and he gently nodded, “Yeah. Always.”
You leaned onto him, resting your head on his shoulder and he surrounded you in his arms.
