Jack’s not powered like 616 Matt is. He’s just a guy. A much more brawler Daredevil with fists like anvils and a notorious ability to get hit hard and often and still get up. His enemies are much more organized crimes based. He’s fighting men not super-villains as his time is before a lot of them started appearing. He’s not afraid to beat the hell out of drug dealers and arms dealers or anyone else he wants to utterly terrify into staying out of his city. He does work his way up the food chain to some of the bigger players in the gangs. He’s a harsher crime fighter because he doesn’t really have anything to lose at this point. He’s already lost his son and his ex-wife’s become a major crime boss in her own twisted way to clean up the city. His day job is running Fogwell’s Gym and training fighters or just people in his neighborhood who want to learn to protect themselves because the cops don’t. He trains there himself too to pick up more fighting styles than just boxing and become more well rounded than his 616 counterpart.
