I’m incredibly emotional today. Today is the last day of filming for Supernatural, the last day Jared and Jensen share the stage with Sam and Dean.
To the show that brought me a family - thank you. This isn’t goodbye.
I wish I had the talent, eloquence, or ability to write what this show has given me. Through my own battle with an eating disorder and personal struggles understanding how to set boundaries (and allowing myself to be uncomfortable to appease others), characters like Sam have allowed me to speak when I forgot I had a voice. I rediscovered my bodily autonomy through Sam, as he learned to vocalize his, challenge those who tried to chain his tongue.
I found power in Ruby; I remembered what it means to be human.
I've found friends who speak to my spirit and are somehow mixed within my soul while so distinctly different from me, I learn from them daily. (They're better than I am, and I'm thankful to have friends I can aspire to be as good as.)
Everything is just a road, and so far, yours may not have been straight shot highway with Led Zeppelin blasting on the radio, but damn, that engine always runs. Have you noticed that? Baby always purrs. Supernatural gave me back my fight, taught me that the average man is supernatural - we are all heroes. Empathy, love, and family are our greatest weapons. Bleed, crack, stumble, and mourn with and for those around you; grieve.
But always close the trunk, turn the key, and step on the gas. Come on, we've got work to do. To Supernatural and our boys, thank you. Bring them home.
Solitude. I’m very much looking forward to warmer weather and more time spent outside. (at Falcon Lake, Manitoba)

I mean, come on, Sam! Even you have to admit - I’m-I’m awesome!
