things i want in season 4:

- more of el being a normal teen girl now that she doesn’t have her powers

- explicit confirmation that will is gay! there was a lot of subtext but nothing concrete.

- more screen time for will!!! noah is such a good actor and will got totally sidelined this season, duffer bros i just wanna see him being happy for once.

- more of robin and steve’s friendship!!

- erica becoming a total nerd and hanging out with dustin and the boys more.

- hopper confirmed as “the american” in the first couple episodes so he can be in most of the season! stranger things wouldn’t be the same without him.

the look of pure hurt on Will Byers face after Mike said, “It’s not my fault you don’t like girls!” made me simultaneously angry and sad. Like, my boy had his youth stolen from him by some fucking deformed angry octopus and he just wants to play D&D but INSTEAD all he’s getting is his het™️ friends judging him on his sexuality (which idk if it’s confirmed or denied but judging by the look on his face is pretty clear he’s not straight). i was fully expecting the duffer brothers to only have robin be a one-dimensional love interest for steve, and instead we got a super clever and complex canonical lesbian who is best friends with our lovable dumbass mom-friend steve harrington!!

the bathroom scene was so real and heartwarming, and it’s so refreshing amidst the focus on couples this season to have two goofy friends who deeply care about each other. they have such a good dynamic, and i really hope that they show more of them in season 4!
