Speaking of Spiderman, the 3rd movie introduces Venom. A symbiote, it felt very Henry & Mind Flayer coded, down to the space rock it arrived on...
Season 3 Mind Flayer observation.
When El goes into Billy's mind, you can see how all the bad memories are "feeding"? the mind flayer.
The red storm gets progressively worse as she walks through Billy's memories, watching him turn into a bully.
El reaches the eye of the storm, which is the abandoned steel mill with his car outside, before he gets grabbed by the meat flayer.
It's like all of his bad deeds and negativity lead up to this very moment.

S3 Robin Buckley
I mourn S3 Robin Buckley every day. She was funny, insanely smart, sarcastic, and just a great new character. And then she slowly became the dumb lesbian. Sure, she was never really THAT dumb on the show, but she wasn't S3 smart either. In S3, she learned Russian just for fun!! Like, who the hell does that? And in S4-S5, she became the talkative comedic relief. She's hilarious, but I just wish it were paired with her being smart.
