I want a video game based off Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, but not like about genetic engineering and manipulation ethics.
Like an on Earth open world game where you make a character and are in charge of a fleet. Where you can choose to be Neutral or a pirate and you just sail around gathering resources and surviving.
Kind of like Raft but with other online players set in the Gargantia universe.
I was digging through my Twitter bookmarks and I found these random images I took while playing Super Robot Wars Z3.2.
I really love Gargantia and I love how it was done in Z3.2. There's a stage that lets you use Kugel and Striker for a bit. The first screen is showing off that Ledo became my first ace.
I really hope that Gargantia returns in a future mainline game.
I have a sort of shrine in my room dedicated to figures related to the first fanfic I wrote, being a Gargantia and Kirby crossover.

Chamber being the support system and caretaker of a teenager while having no real understanding of emotion is so fucked up like. His pilot is so depressed he’s near catatonic, or having an entire ptsd episode, and Chamber just fucking stands there like ‘UM.’
And he obviously CARES, he just has no fucking idea how to help. Like he’ll be a physical comfort for Ledo, keep him safe in the cockpit, or let his pilot rest against him, physically sheltering him. Bc he understands a sense of safety is important. Or he’ll attempt to distract Ledo by discussing philosophy or whatever data he’s processing at the moment, but it rarely helps, all he thinks about is warfare, and his pilot is a traumatized soldier who can’t figure out if he can continue to fight
Chamber just has to stand there and watch his pilot fall apart, and be a cold comfort despite how much he cares. Because no matter how his pilot feels about the mission and their life, its still their mission and their life, and Chamber can’t back away from either,, and the culmination of this is. Chamber realizing he can’t expect this same devotion as his pilot. His pilot shouldn’t even have to be making these sacrifices. He’s just a human, and a child, and this shouldn’t be his responsibility. But its ok. Chamber can finish the final leg of this mission on his own. Because his pilot deserves better
