did you make your own sprites for this game?? :O
Nope, the player's sprites were made by my good friend Kavi and the enemy sprites were made by my other good friend Allison.

Here's a bonus gameplay video, since the gifs don't do a very good job of showing it fully.
The game now has levels! The player's score and health is saved and transferred from level to level, and the number of enemies goes up with each level. It's not much right now, but it's a start.
And speaking of enemies, they actually have sprites now! No more fighting an evil army of foam swords. (Very special thanks to my good friend Allison for making the sprites)
will the game be available online, and do you know when it will come out
I definitely do plan to make the game available online one way or another, but this early in development it's really hard to say when I'd be able to finish the game, or at the very least a demo.
Added a health bar and the ability for the player to die. The enemies now shoot at the player as well.
The enemies now try (and sometimes fail) to avoid running into the player.
Made a few placeholder parts for the enemies to add some variety to the baddies (the placeholders are squares because I'm terrible at spriting). Each enemy spawns with 3 parts each with a red, blue, or green color chosen at random.
Also, the enemies now turn to "look at" the player
Here are some progress gifs of Space Nuts. More to come soon!
