You were standing close to the kitchen counter talking to your husband Satoru about another mess up with the higher ups and your work day while making dinner.
"No, but i told yaga that I can add a few more missions on my schedule like literally before they suggested it now they're acting like they thought of it first." You took a bite of bread.
Satoru rolled his eyes, "i told you they will not listen to us then act as if we are the problem."
You shrugged getting back to check on the stove. "I know right? They're so pissy."
Satoru laughed . "Please, I agree with that soft much."
The both of you kept talking when Yuta walked in the room. He has been studying in his room. "Hey, you. Finished studying?" You asked when he walked over to hug you and nodded to your question before taking his seat next to Satoru and hugged him.
"You good?" Satoru questioned.
Yuta nodded sitting silently with his hands on his lap as he stared at you. There was a look in his eyes you couldn't figure out what it was.
"Yu, baby do you need something?" You asked handing Satoru the plates.
"I-Uh no nothing Mama." He replied, voice low and hesitant.
Both you and Satoru exchanged a confused look before you motioned for Satoru to head to dinning room so you'd talk to Yuta once again.
"I'll set the table, then." Satoru called out leaving the kitchen.
You sighed at his attempt to not make it suspicious that you know something is up. Leaning over the counter you forwarded your hands for Yuta and he immediately intertwined his hands in yours. "Baba, what's wrong? You want to talk about something? You know we are here, right?"
He opened his lips to speak but shook his head slightly. "I uhm i am just tired that is all. Sorry to worry you, mama."
With a slight tap on his hand you smiled. "Nah uh, you could never stop me from worrying about my spacial boy. Come on, now. Let's eat."
Yuta seemed more focused on the two of you during dinner as if he was capturing this moment in his mind; the way Satoru would crack a joke making you laugh that you'd feel your tears. While Yuta sat there admiring his parents.
Later that night as you sat on your bed reading through a file while Satoru was reading a book quietly. There was a sudden knock on the door.
"Yuta? Come in, Darling." You responded not taking your eyes of the file until the door was open and he walked in.
You almost jumped out of the bed when you noticed his blurry eyes, he's been crying.
"Yuta? What's wrong baby?" Satoru was quick to rush to his side. "Hey, look at me. What's wrong?"
"I-I uh," he sobbed, trying to stop the tears by rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand. "I uh. I am so, I wa-was."
"Yuta," Satoru sounded worried. "Please, tell us what happened? Why are you crying?"
He hugged Satoru and you both let him cry it out for a few minutes. When he calmed down he spoke. "I was ta-talking to m-my friend earlier and he said t-that," Yuta kept breaking into tears. "He said that his mother passed away when he was very little and I just want to s-say that I am so grateful to you both. I don't want to lose you, ever."
"Oh, hey. Come here." You pulled him in embrace as he cried. You sighed of relief placing your head on top of his. "I am so sorry for your friend, must been hard for him. I'm so sorry baby."
Satoru rubbed his back, comforting him as he hugged you. "I am j-just worried because you two are old and I don’t want anything to happen to you."
"Old?!" Satoru gasped and you snorted a laugh trying hard to hold it back.
Your son just called you two old and your husbands reaction was priceless.
"Yuta, sweetheart," Satoru began, "We are only thirty six not ancient? I am literally in my prime."
You rolled your eyes laughing quietly before slowly pulling away and meeting Yuta's gaze. "Sweetheart, what your dad is trying to say is that we are not going anywhere anytime soon and we are here for a very very long time. Nothing will happen to me and your dad." You smiled softly.
Satoru grinned ruffling his hair. "Yeah! We are going to live until the end of time."
Yuta smiled little, before hugging you both. "I just don't want to lose you ever. I love you both so much."
Satoru and you both hugged him tightly, squeezing him between you. "Oh you will never get ride of us! We love you the most!" Satoru said before tickling him. Yuta let out a laugh struggling to stop Satoru. You were quick to rescue your son before placing a kiss on his forehead. "You're our baby boy for the rest of your life."
Satoru picked him up before placing him on the ground. "Quick! Yuta, who's your favourite parent me or mommy?"
"Oh stop it!" You slapped his arm slightly flicking your hair. "Obviously it's me."
Satoru scuffed, "girl, please. We know it's me!"
You snapped your fingers infront of your husband. "Girl, I cook and keep you alive. So it's me!"
Satoru mimiced your words. "Nah girl, I can do cartwheel. So I'm the coolest."
You rolled your eyes. "Such a lier."
Yuta's laughter made you both snap out of your "who's the coolest parent". He stopped laughing and saw you both looking at him with such adoring look in your eyes.
"I love you both, forever." He hugged Satoru then you. "Mama, can I stay with you two tonight? Please?"
"Of course, baby." You softly smiled and Satoru ruffled his hair with a small chuckle.
As he snuggled in between the two of you immediately falling asleep. Satoru carefully pulled the blanket over him and tapped it softly in comforting manner, staring at him as if he was the most precious thing in the world.
A soft smile found its way on Satoru's face as he looked at you with an adoring look before whispering. "He snores like his beautiful mama."
Your jaw dropped before chuckled faking a mad look and you whispered, "My son doesn't snore, nor do I. You're so mean to my baby."
Satoru nodded. "Yeah he does it's like a soft whistle." He said mimicking the snores softly.
You slapped his arm causing him to laugh.
Your son did snores like you.
Satoru kissed your hand, "thank you for giving me the sweetest kid in the world."
You looked at Yuta then back at your husband. "You're the one who made such a sweet baby boy. Our precious son."
