GIGANTIC ARC PREVIEW WEEKEND
I know I’ve made many “go play gigantic” posts in the past, but we’re getting to the end of Beta (finally) and the game is soon coming to Win7/8 platforms via the Arc Games website/launcher. That means you don’t have to deal with the Microsoft Store, or the weirdness of Win10!
This preview weekend debuts a new tutorial, and bot matches before you get thrown in with live humans. I know I’ve talked a lot about the art, and making characters for Gigantic, but the game itself is amazing. It has a joyous freedom of movement, a zippy pace, great controls, and some deep and complex strategy. Typically, I don’t play these types of games (lately I haven’t been playing anything, really); but I’ve found that the Gigantic has the fun craziness of Super Smash Brothers, mixed with the strategy of a traditional MOBA. Also it has giant monsters.
Later this summer Gigantic will be jumping out of beta and into the deep end with the Big League Boys! So make sure your computer is up to speed and click that link above to try the game out this weekend!
