The Aftermath was inspired by some sort of the crisis in the world. Personally, for me, it’s a love song about feeling when you’re away from people you love, which is a common theme when you’re writing songs about being on tour or something but in my mind I was thinking about it in the context of people who are really having real problems in their lives.
