They say there's a pleasure spa for humans in Commorragh. Not just for humans, but for kroot, orks and any other poor souls dragged from realspace to be food for the drukhari. If you can break away from your masters, make your way to the base of the Alphrenax Spire in the realm of the Red Claw, and follow the glyphs scratched into stone until they lead to an alley where a small tunnel is burrowed into a fracture of the boardwalk from the last Dysjunction... you'll be torn apart by ur-ghuls.
But NEXT to that alley is a door with the rune of Isha, guarded by scarred veterans of the fighting pits clad in ur-ghul bones. Behind that door is a refuge, a tiny paradise where smiling attendants will pamper all who arrive for as long as they desire. All the aches and pains will be soothed out of tired, stress-laden bodies, delicious foods will be provided, and guests can sleep in soft beds without fear of waking up to the singing of cruel knives.
This is Isha's Embrace.
There are two rules to Isha's Embrace. The first is not to cause trouble with the other guests or attendants. No fighting, unless both parties are willing, at which point there's a pit downstairs.
The second rule is, if and when your masters arrive to reclaim you, there will be no resistance from Isha's faithful, and causing a scene will bar you from return in future.
Because the drukhari know about Isha's Embrace. They know where it is and why it is, and they graciously allow it to continue. It is even said that drukhari raids supply most of the luxurious foods and goods on offer. The drukhari know also that darkest shadows appear all the darker for having seen light, and the most searing agonies are that much more unbearable for having known bliss.
They say Isha's Embrace has operated for close to three millennia, founded by a human veteran from Valhalla and an aeldari from an Exodite wargrove. Both live still, running the place to this day. They say that Vect himself gifted the monkeigh with a trinket to extend his lifespan. Because the drukhari know too that the greatest torment they can offer the proprietors of Isha's Embrace is the knowledge that all their work is for naught, that every moment of respite is only a waning of the misery to allow it to wax fully once more.
And if you don't like it, they say, the ur-ghuls are right next door.
when your art program’s closing message hits you straight in the heart and makes you stop and contemplate the state of it all
because of the huge response to this post, I decided to make a version of the art that includes the text
I’ve also uploaded this design to INPRNT, and all sales proceeds will be donated to environmental and humanitarian charities!
this is still going around with the old dead links - please help me share this version

hey i made an X-Files comic just for you, the person who takes naps to X-Files reruns
I'm doing irresponsible things with orks. kitbashed deffkoptas made of escher jetbikes and a kharadron balloon
this is so fucking funny
i can't stop thinking about this. this kind of shit is not like milsim plane nerds with their own super-expensive desktop cockpit recreations. that kind of hardware makes sense to exist.
this does not. they're playing world of tanks which is like the "call of duty" of tank games (casual, players only slightly bad-smelling). it also doesn't have support for tank peripherals. no game does. no trainers do afaik. which means that (assuming this isn't just a video editing) all of that shit they are fucking with translates into mouse/keyboard inputs that the game understands. that's weird/hard and perplexing, uh, and considering that "tank peripherals" aren't a thing that exist i can only guess they built them theirselves
which is fucking hilarious because why are they so good. why does the fucking cannon breech have a little dry ice smoke effect when the breech opens like they just shot a shell. what. manual turret traverse crank?? did they build a fucking ready rack!! they're even using the correct phraseology which means one of these mofos read a PDF file
