Seems like a waste of money to me if you intended on staying in Amity Park, but then again, this is you we’re talking about.
I like having options.
Uh… didn’t that place blow up like… back in my freshman or sophomore year?
Yes. I had it rebuilt ages ago.
That old pest? He’s still in my Wisconsin home, at least as far as I’m aware. I’m not out there very often anymore, so I can’t say for certain, though.

How long?
There was no way of measuring time out here.
For all he knew it could have been a day, a week, a month, a year, perhaps even a century? Though he imagined that his core could not support his human needs indefinitely.
He would die out here and no one would know. No one would care.
It was enough to drive a man mad.
And it had, for a time.
But his mind was his own again. His thoughts had coherency, though for how long was uncertain.
And even then: did it really matter?
He could not return. Earth was destroyed. The Ghost Zone was no more.
Everything was gone.
Nothing mattered.
And still… he did not want to die.
He chalked it up to survival instinct and cowardice.
It would be so easy to return to human form and finished what the protoportal had started.
But he didn’t know what would happen. Would he form a full ghost? Or would he simply cease to be?
He was too afraid to find out. And so he drifted on.

Just a note on character resistance...
Just because my muse resists something, doesn’t mean I don’t want you to do it. I’ll happily let my muse be abused in many ways. But that doesn’t mean I’m just gonna have them roll over, especially if they’re fairly powerful. But don’t take their resistance as a sign that I want you or your muse to stop.
I’m making this because I sometimes feel like people think when my muse resists, it’s a sign for them go back off. It’s not. If I am not comfortable with something, I’ll tell you OOC. If I said go for it, I mean just that.
On the flip side, if my muse is ever being too difficult, please, let me know, and I’ll do my best to correct that.
That is all. Feel free to pass this on if you feel you have the same problem.

SELF-KNOWLEDGE QUESTIONNAIRE
Below the surface everyone is pretty complicated. Based on your answers, we think the following three traits are important strands in your personality:
RATIONALITY
You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesise and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.
SHYNESS
Part of you is gripped by the fear that you’ll launch into something and completely mess it up. The upside of this is wise caution: people are indeed often too rash, whereas you know, by instinct, that holding back can save you. Probably, you feel shame and self-disgust a bit too much. But when you do feel in your element, you act with a wisdom and sensitivity never found in people with thicker skins.
ORDERLINESS
You love it when everything is neat and tidy: when there is a proper way of doing things, and you can tick things off the to-do list and know where everything is. So others, at times, are to you unbearably sloppy and messy. And you run into things that can’t be ordered (a child, a partner, a colleague at work) which drives you slightly nuts. But your desire for order is a good one when it is focussed where it is needed and when you’re okay with a bit of mess.
