Just hanging out with my best friend, playing stardew valley on my switch with them, just switching controler every time a day ends, while they explain all the stuff I didnt get about the game when i first started and then later me teaching her my favorite card game and us playing for HOURS just healed my soul a little.

For me it has always reminded me of summertime - like the kind of summer where it is humid and you feel sweaty and like iced tea is the only thing that will save you. It reminds me of the summer adventures I had in the woods with the neighborhood kids growing up

One day you’re reading the raven boys in highschool wishing you had a group of friends like them, dreaming of having your own Cabeswater. and the next thing you know you’re graduating college. You never forget that book series it will forever be deeply rooted into your heart. and my god what a beautiful thing that is.
Or one day you are sitting in a seminar with a bunch of new people and realise there is no pressure to make friends, you have great friends actually, and it feels like what you always thought the gangsey must have felt like and suddenly life feels... less heavy.
