No anon it’s not rude of you to ask. This is sweet. Truth be told those old characters are a source of stress for me now, enough that this message almost started a panic attack (not your fault, you had no way of knowing). No worries though because I was able to calm down.

I can’t do this for you tonight, but maybe this weekend I can doodle Spleb one last time since you asked nicely. And when I do I hope it gives you some sense of closure if that’s what you need.

But hey you are welcome to stick around and see what else I’ll be working on. Just because I left those characters behind doesn’t mean I’ve stopped creating altogether :)

I…. Don’t like Christmas.

This happens to me every year. I’m just fine up until like Christmas Eve and then it hits me how completely, utterly alone I am. All my friends are busy hanging out with other people, or their families, and I just… don’t have anybody.

I don’t have any friends in real life. I dont have any family that still talks to me. Everyone is quiet on social media too because they’re doing better things, so even the social media feed is lonely and doesn’t provide a great distraction. Hardly anyone online responds to me because again, they’re all busy hanging out with people who are more important than me,

Which is fine, I’m glad my friends have what I don’t. I honestly am, I wouldn’t want anyone to feel this lonely on Christmas or any day of the year for that matter. But… and maybe I’m selfish for wanting this, I just want someone to talk to. I want someone who cares about me. A friend who is excited to talk and spend the holiday w me

Granted I’m not COMPLETELY ignored, because there are the one or two buds that respond intermittently throughout the day, or even the few that send me a merry Christmas message, but those conversations are brief and then they’re over, and I’m alone again.

I just want someone who cares. That’s what I want for Christmas. I don’t want a gift, or money, or anything like that. I just want a friend to be with so I won’t have to be so alone.

My neck is in so much pain... 3 days ago I woke up like normal and then it just suddenly seized and locked up and hasn’t released since. My physical therapist says it’s likely a result from being under a lot of stress. Massaging it real good makes it feel better for an hour or two and then it goes right back. Resting actually makes it feel WORSE for some reason (it hurts a lot more when I’m laying down, so that’s cool).

At this point I just wanna say fuck it and just continue drawing like normal even though it hurts a lot. If resting isn’t gonna do anything maybe just powering through it will help.
