My life is crashing down

I feel the weight of the house on these stilts

And wonder if maintenance will come

Or will this home come crashing down.

It’s like we put the house on top the stilts,

But no idea what they are built from

Or even who put them there.

Now we’re wondering how to maintenance,

Wondering if it’s worth it,

Wondering who’s going to save this house on stilts.

I’ve realized holding this house is a lot tougher than I imagined,

But then I look over and he’s not holding up his end.
