something i really like about scene culture is that it's a mish mash of other subcultures and tends to differ slightly depending on the individual.

it's fashion comes from emo, goth, rave, and the 80s, it's music varies wildly from edm and happy hardcore to alternative rock to 00s pop music, and the interests of scene individuals vary from 00s weeb culture to creepypastas to internet memes, etc.

it's truly a culture that was born entirely online due to the connected nature of the internet and i think that's really REALLY cool. and now because of the revival, scene has the added component of web 1.0 nostalgia that it didn't technically have before.

there is no "true" or "pure" way to be scene; it's entirely up to you and your personal experiences and how you engage with it!
