Design refs I made for @basalisk120's DnD character (2023)

Featuring my take on her key inventory items: Periapt of Wound Closure, the Thistle Blade (living jade blade powered by Ki) and her prosthetic Propulsion Arm (it can rocket punch!) Fun Aurora facts: - used to be a highborn military commander who fought on the wrong side of the war - she drinks to drown her ptsd and has maybe 1 brain cell left - lost her arm in the war, but the scar on her abdomen was given by my cavalier fighter Kal, who got possessed by an eldritch god and ran her through with a spear :) What fun we have at the table!

Design refs for my DnD character (2023)

Being a fighter with the carrying capacity of a horse, she's always got way too much stuff! Featured key inventory items: The Dawn Lance (deals radiant damage and casts Daylight) and her trusted shield. She also somehow has an instrument proficiency and "plays" the warhorn

Fun Kal facts: - extremely gay, stubborn and neurodivergent - has trouble expressing emotions and comes off as scary, but the party has advantage on insight checks to read her so it's ok - will never allow you to ride her (rude!!!) - left home as a teen to find her "Name" (literally, they have a coming-of-age naming ritual). The longer it takes to go back for her Naming, the more daunting it becomes. When has one accomplished enough? - this all started with me texting the dm "can I be my own horse?" and the fool said yes

Our story follows two lesbian huntresses in pre-historic iron age Finland as they track down a bear… and sort out their relationship 🤔 Character notes are still subject to change but spoiler alert they’re GAY

My final piece for the @overwatchtarotdeck, the New Horizon Tarot Deck project hosted by @catstealers-zines! I got to draw Ana “Horus” Amari in her old Overwatch uniform, about to enter her life-changing sniper duel with Widowmaker for the Major Arcana card Judgement, representing resolution to a story and the final fate of everything within it.
