100%!! dependant tendancies is in a unique situation, it's actually multiple different bassie-centric fics i decided to combine into being her backstory in this au. so originally it was posted to just be one of those fics! but bassie's backstory is so so so important to me and will definitely be finished. for future chaptered fics, i'm trying to wait to start posting them until i have them at least half-done, so hopefully i won't leave everyone hanging for so long! so once i have more of dependant tendencies done, i'll start posting it. :)^^ im really glad you like my view on bassie, she means so much to me in this world.
Shellyās room is on the second floor of the same building Bassieās in. It doesnāt surprise her that sheās never noticed, because she spends the least amount of time that she can in the common areas.Ā
Couches and beanbags, blankets folded in baskets. It's normal enough at a glance, butā¦
There's a basket of various toys in the corner. A table with different ālittle suppliesā: pacifiers in plastic packaging, sippy cups in gaudy colors. The corkboards have all different kinds of events and notices posted to them; āBig Kids Club: For littles & flips whoās little age is ten or older!ā, āPlease remember to properly dispose of personal hygiene products.ā, āHigh-needs support group! Find us in the Campus Center, room 204, every Wednesday!ā.
The worst part, though, is the bathrooms. Adult-sized changing table rooms right next to private toilets, incontinence supplies stocked under sinks. She tries really hard to only go to the normal bathrooms, but sometimesā
ā¦She takes the bus to a pharmacy 20 minutes away about once every 2 weeks. Her parents give her very little money to spend, just enough for food, school supplies, and maybe some clothes. She buys the cheapest āincontinence underwearā they offer, uses the self-checkout, and puts them in her backpack before she leaves.
Saying her parents wouldn't be happy is an understatement. But she canātā she needs them. If it was only when she wasā¦ little, that would be one thing. Not that she ever really is, not aside from those few late nights where it just happens, and even then she doesnāt think it's all the way. Her medicine takes care of that.
Sheās heard the spiel, okay? What repressing littlespace or carerspace does to you. The dangers of suppressants. She ignores it, because she needs them. She needs them to function.
Even if they canāt fix everything.
