ok im just gonna say it. pisses me off that kimi antonelli gets so many passes for displaying "bratty" attitude while george, ever since 2022, gets insults thrown left and right bc 1.) he has "feminine" facial features, which attracts misogynists, and 2.) he displays behavior similar to autistic ppl (bluntness, pedantic over riles), which attracts ableists . not accusing george of being autistic or a woman or anything of the like, but the language people use against him displays different misogynist and ableist rhetoric it actually shocks me that we can even Get to that point
Never seen a driver as lucky as Russell. Doesn’t do anything yet ended up in podium.
Sure :) I mean seeing this whole season has definitely proved us that russell is a lucky driver!!
In china, George suffered a front wing failure in Q2 followed by a mysterious gearbox and electronics issue in Q3 that briefly stalled his Mercedes on track. Making him 2nd non the less in the race.
In Japan, George had a race-derailing software bug. The glitch forced his car into a charging mode in defense against Charles Leclerc. Making him place 4th.
In Miami, George struggled with understeer, overheating tires in twisty sections, and a lack of front-end grip compared to his teammate. Making him end up 4th.
In Canada, George Russell even tho he had mastered a well deserved pole position in qualifying , he suffered a race-ending catastrophic battery failure on Lap 30 while leading during the race. The issue completely shut down the car's electronics and power, which suddenly left him without engine power or proper braking. Resulting in a dnf.
In Monaco, George Russell's race was derailed by a botched penalty execution. After an initial penalty for pit-lane speeding, his Mercedes team failed to hold the car for the mandatory five seconds during a pit stop, resulting in a severe drive-through penalty that dropped him to 13th.
In Barcelona, George Russell's race was compromised by a severe oversteer issue caused by a pit stop error. Mercedes revealed that a faulty adjuster gun incorrectly set his front wing flap during his final stop, which ruined the car's aerodynamic balance and made the rear tires slide. Going from 1st to 2nd.
In Austria, George Russell secured a win at the Austrian Grand Prix despite suffering a severe water system failure in his Mercedes that left him unable to take on fluids for the duration of the race.
But yeah, George is incredibly lucky this season and has had every podium handed to him, You’re absolutely correct 😄
(gathered all this information by a google search by the way)
i’ve never hated and enjoyed a race at the same time more than this gp.
Can we make it a common occurrence and have kimi finish outside the points more often?? Mind you the gap is now at just 25 points
my fan fiction (manifestation and what will actually happen) for tomorrow:
leclerc: has a masterful performance, p3 to p10, i clap, i cheer, that's my goat right there, i've never seen such a masterclass in my entire life
hamilton: unfortunately has a puncture that cannot be fixed, for the first time this season finishes without points. rip GOAT, you will get them next time
kimi: has a relatively good performance until the last few laps where he locks up, and puts it into the gravel, he finishes the race, but unfortunately outside of the points, sucks to suck kimi. viva la italia or whatever they say :'[
george: wins the race smoothly with the power of every single god on his side, i cry tears of joy
lando and oscar: we somehow get them on the podium, haven't gotten that part figured out yet
the end :)
fuck this quali
yabadabadoo indeed george, yabadabadoo.
me watching verstappen’s and russell’s time difference nearing and going from 8s to 3.6s
It was legally george’s pole. period point blank. Thanks!!
Me to Mercedes these days as a George fan
sometimes i think george's loyalty to mercedes is bad but then i remember that charles leclerc and his devotion to ferrari exist and think 'could be worse'
Sometimes I start getting too parasocial and upset about how Mercedes treats George and I have to take a deep breath and look at myself in the mirror and say. He Has A Yacht. and then im ok.
“Was it that hard, Mercedes?”
if I say what I truly believe of Toto Wolff I’ll have the fbi on my doorstep.
“George doesn’t care that he didn’t win because he’s happy for Lewis” I keep seeing this, but eh, seriously?
Like, I get that people ship Britcedes, but let’s not kid ourselves that George was happy about Lewis’s win when he put that car on pole and wanted this win so badly after so many unlucky races. He’s angry and upset that he didn’t win, no matter what he says. As he should be. That fucking team let him down again. It’s the second time this season he didn’t win the race after putting the car on pole. The only good thing about this race for him was Antonelli’s DNF, not Lewis’s win. Let’s be real now.
